Así lo informó en la víspera durante la firma del convenio de cooperación interinstitucional, mediante el cual el Gobierno Regional transferirá S/ 1 millón al Programa de Compensaciones para la Competitividad (Agroideas) para el cofinanciamiento por parte del Midagri, a fin de ejecutar los Planes de Negocio a productores de la región.
En su exposición, el ministro del MIDAGRI destacó el papel del programa del Agroideas – adscrito al ministerio – en apoyo a los productores de la Agricultura Familiar en Cajamarca, en la cual 115 planes de negocios se orientaron a financiar cultivos de café y el resto a productores de arroz, cacao y otros.
“Más del 60 % de las inversiones de Agroideas está en esta región, porque este programa funciona en base a la demanda y a la presencia de organizaciones de productores y cooperativas. Se tratan de organizaciones y productores emprendedores, que se mueven en una dinámica importante”, dijo.
También el titular del MIDAGRI resaltó el trabajo conjunto entre el ministerio y el Gobierno regional de Cajamarca, para seguir articulando esfuerzos y recursos en apoyo directo a la pequeña Agricultura Familiar, que es la población objetivo de la política nacional agraria.
Según Agroideas, el cofinanciamiento de Planes de Negocio en Cajamarca demandó una inversión de S/ 75.8 millones del Estado y S/ 25.2 millones como aporte de pequeños productores, logrando beneficiar a 1,600 organizaciones a nivel regional.

“Este convenio es el reflejo de cómo debemos trabajar de manera articulada entre los tres niveles de gobierno (nacional, regional y local) y los beneficiarios sean los productores de la Agricultura Familiar, para que puedan tener más opciones y perspectivas, siendo la población objetivo de la política nacional agraria”, sostuvo Tenorio.
Por su parte, la autoridad regional resaltó la política de trabajo articulado desarrollada por el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego (Midagri) para promover el desarrollo de los pequeños productores de Agricultura Familiar, que han estado en la primera línea de lucha contra la COVID-19, a través de la provisión de alimentos a la población del país.
Además, en su discurso expresó que las acciones del GORE apuntan a consolidar la Agricultura Familiar a través de la ejecución de proyectos de piloto, como la implementación de planes “Amanecer” de respaldo a la actividad ganadera, así como las acciones de reforestación y forestación en las 13 provincias, además de la “revolución azul” con la construcción de microrreservorios, entre otras medidas.
El ministro inició su agenda de trabajo en Jaén visitando la cooperativa cafetalera “Sol & Café”, beneficiaria también del Programa Agroideas, que produce y transforma su producción para abastecer mercados internacionales.
