El día Jueves 1 de Julio en horas de la tarde, se efectuó la entrega de las 300 bolsas de alimentos, en el campo deportivo del distrito de Chaupimarca, en la ciudad de Cerro de Pasco.

La directora de la Oficina Regional de Atención a las Personas con Discapacidad (OREDIS) Jenny Sarmiento Salazar, manifestó: “Gracias de corazón, muchas personas están muy agradecidas”

Cada bolsa de alimentos con peso de 15 kilos, contenía: Leche evaporada, harina preparada, avena, conservas de pescado, lentejas, azúcar, aceite vegetal, fideos y arroz que en total representan 4 y media toneladas de alimentos.

La donación es parte de la iniciativa de ayuda humanitaria que realiza la Iglesia de Jesucristo en su misión de servicio a las personas vulnerables, especialmente las afectadas por la actual pandemia del coronavirus.

On Thursday, July 1, in the afternoon, the 300 bags of food were delivered to the sports field of the Chaupimarca district, in the city of Cerro de Pasco.

Jenny Sarmiento Salazar, the director of the Regional Office for Attention to People with Disabilities (OREDIS), said: “Thank you from the heart, many people are very grateful”

Each bag of food weighing 15 kilos, contained: Evaporated milk, prepared flour, oats, canned fish, lentils, sugar, vegetable oil, noodles and rice that in total represent 4 and a half tons of food.

The donation is part of the humanitarian aid initiative carried out by the Church of Jesus Christ in its mission of service to vulnerable people, especially those affected by the current coronavirus pandemic.
