De esta manera, EsSalud se convierte en la primera institución pública de salud de Sudamérica en recibir esta acreditación que otorga la referida empresa de certificación internacional.

El gerente general de EsSalud, Alfredo Barredo, en representación de la presidenta ejecutiva de EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli, recibió los certificados de acreditación de manos de la directora de Operaciones Perú de Global Certification Bureau, Maité Cornejo, en una ceremonia que se desarrolló en el auditorio del hospital Rebagliati.

En el acto también estuvieron presentes los doctores Juan Santillana, Jorge Amorós y Ulises Romero, gerentes de las redes prestacionales Rebagliati, Almenara y Sabogal, respectivamente quienes recibieron la certificación internacional en prevención, control y tratamiento de los actos de soborno, con énfasis en la gestión de la contratación pública y/o adquisición de bienes y servicios; almacenamiento y distribución y control patrimonial.

En tanto, el Centro Nacional de Salud Renal obtuvo la acreditación en sistemas de gestión antisoborno en la contratación pública de bienes y servicios.

El gerente general de EsSalud, Alfredo Barredo, destacó que la acreditación es un reconocimiento a las políticas anticorrupción implementadas por su institución con el fin de fortalecer los sistemas de gestión en el correcto uso de los recursos públicos en beneficio de la población asegurada.

“EsSalud tiene como objetivo principal promover una cultura de integridad y transparencia, para lo cual ha implementado diversas acciones para combatir la corrupción. Esta certificación internacional antisoborno garantiza que los recursos que destinados de manera óptima a la atención de salud”, expresó.

Global Certification Bureau S.A. es una organización dedicada al mejoramiento continuo y aporte de valor a entidades públicas y privadas mediante la certificación de sistemas de gestión en base a estándares internacionales con el aval de la Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación (EMA) signatario del International Accreditation Forum (IAF, por sus siglas en inglés).

“Luego de haber desarrollado las etapas con éxito en cada entidad, se otorga este reconocimiento de la norma internacional antisoborno que es un estándar a nivel global reconocido a través de la organización ISO. Me da mucho gusto saber que en Perú, EsSalud es líder a nivel de instituciones públicas del sector salud en la región en obtener esta acreditación”, expresó la representante de Global Certification Bureau.
