La distinción le fue otorgada por el alcalde distrital, Giancarlo Casassa, en el marco de la conmemoración por el 72 aniversario de creación del distrito de Surquillo, durante la visita que efectuó la premier al Estadio Municipal Carlos A. Moscoso –junto al viceministro de Prestaciones y Aseguramiento en Salud del Ministerio de Salud (Minsa), Bernardo Ostos; y la presidenta de EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli- con el fin de supervisar la tercera Vacunatón dirigida a inmunizar contra la COVID-19 a menores con síndrome de Down, adultos de 40 años en adelante y aquellos con segunda dosis pendiente.
VACUNACIÓN ES PRODUCTO DEL ESFUERZO COLECTIVO
La titular de la PCM agradeció dicho reconocimiento, indicando que lo recibía en nombre de todo el equipo y de las personas de distintos lugares y niveles de gobierno que participan en la organización del proceso de vacunación.
“La vacunación es el producto de un esfuerzo colectivo, un esfuerzo que ha sumado a personas de diferentes lugares, de diferentes niveles de gobierno, pero detrás de este trabajo está el equipo humano de EsSalud, el Ministerio de Salud, también las organizaciones de nuestra sociedad animando a otras personas que vengan a vacunarse y también las empresas”, señaló la premier, quien junto con las autoridades superviso el desarrollo.
Agregó que esta pandemia nos dio la oportunidad de unirnos y enfrentarla juntos el gobierno nacional, regional y local y con las personas comprometidas en ese esfuerzo. También expresó su convicción de que el tercer siglo que inicia nuestra república peruana independiente lo hará con una sociedad más fortalecida y la única forma de lograr esa fortaleza es con la vacunación.
VACUNAS ASEGURADAS
En declaraciones a la prensa, la jefa del gabinete ministerial aseguró que el plan de vacunación contra la COVID-19 incluye a todos los residentes del Perú mayores de 12 años y no hay ninguna razón para que la nueva gestión gubernamental postergue o suspenda la inmunización de algún grupo etario, porque existen las dosis de vacunas suficientes para todos.
En ese sentido, recordó que al inicio del Gobierno de transición y emergencia del presidente Francisco Sagasti no había vacunas ni contratos y “hoy tenemos vacunas aseguradas y compradas que están llegando semanalmente y no hay ninguna razón para que se deje de vacunar a nadie”.
TRANSFERENCIA Y SERVICIOS DEL ESTDO
Al referirse al cambio de autoridades con la transferencia de gobierno y que podría poner en riesgo algún servicio del Estado, la premier enfatizó que están saliendo solo las máximas autoridades del Poder Ejecutivo, pero quedan las que están en las demás instituciones que siguen trabajando. Además, agregó, el Estado cuenta con un contingente de 1.3 millones de servidores y servidoras que continúan trabajando.
La premier también recordó que los compromisos asumidos por el presidente Francisco Sagasti al inicio del Gobierno de transición y emergencia, para hacer frente a la pandemia, se han honrado en las áreas de prevención, atención de las personas afectadas y la vacunación, así como en lo que respecta a la coordinación de los diversos actores del Estado y del sector privado.
INFRAESTRUCTURA SANITARIA
Resaltó, asimismo, que en materia de prevención contra la COVID-19, se cuenta ahora con más de 300 plantas de oxígeno y se ha logrado superar las 3 000 camas UCI. Además, indicó que se han instalado más de 800 camas de alto flujo, que permiten que las personas no se agraven y luego requieran una cama UCI. En ese sentido, enfatizó que la nueva administración gubernamental va a tener una mejor infraestructura sanitaria para atender la pandemia.
SEMBRADO DE ÁRBOLES
Hay que resaltar que la premier Violeta Bermúdez; la presidenta de EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli; y el viceministro de Prestaciones y Aseguramiento en Salud del Minsa, Bernardo Ostos plantaron los últimos tres árboles de un total de 200 con los que la municipalidad distrital de Surquillo conmemoró el mes de su aniversario y los 200 años de la independencia del Perú. Dicho acto se realizó en simultáneo en 39 parques del citado distrito.
