El primer mandatario peruano que en breves horas dejará su administración gubernamental al nuevo presidente electo Pedro Castillo, estuvo acompañado de una de las autoridades de la Iglesia de Jesucristo a quien se le denomina Setenta Autoridad de Área, un cardenal católico, un rabino judío, un obispo metodista, un reverendo de la iglesia ortodoxa, un obispo de la iglesia anglicana, entre otro líderes, quienes se unieron para orar al Dios universal por el Perú, en los muy hermosos prados del sagrado Templo de Lima de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días.

Hay que destacar que se trata de la primera vez en la historia, que líderes de diferentes religiones, líderes políticos y artistas se unen para orar por el Perú desde este escenario de adoración que constituye este edificio religioso al que sus miembros denominan el Templo de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en el distrito de La Molina al este de Lima en Perú.

Posteriormente concluida esta ceremonia, el presidente del Perú, Francisco Sagasti, recibió una copia del Libro de Mormón, otro testamento de Jesucristo de parte del Elder Zeballos como parte del evento de “Oración por el Perú” en conmemoración del bicentenario de la independencia de la nación Inca.

En la actualidad es el presidente del Area Sudamérica Noroeste de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, que abarca diversos países andinos de la región.
