La comitiva oficial del gobierno de Paraguay que encabeza su Vicepresidente fue recibido, en el Grupo Aéreo N° 8, por el ministro de Justicia, Eduardo Ernesto Vega.
Hugo Velázquez arribó a Lima pasado las 14:30 y a las 18:00 tendrá su primera actividad oficial de trabajo en la Plaza Mayor de Lima, donde se desarrollará el acto conmemorativo por el bicentenario de independencia de Perú.
Posteriormente, el Vicepresidente participará de una cena oficial en el Palacio de Gobierno del Perú, ofrecida por el presidente saliente Francisco Sagasti.
De otro lado para mañana miércoles al mediodía, Velázquez participará en el Congreso de la República del juramento de toma de mando del presidente electo del Perú, Pedro Castillo Castillo. A las 14:00, junto con representantes de otros gobiernos, el Vicepresidente compartirá un almuerzo con el nuevo jefe de Estado de la nación Inca en el Palacio de Gobierno.
Ya en horas de la noche, Velázquez encabezará un encuentro organizado por la embajada de Paraguay en Perú, el jueves en horas de la mañana el segundo del Ejecutivo emprende el viaje de retorno a nuestro país.
