Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe El Congreso de la República promulgó la Ley Nº 31331, que introduce modificaciones a la norma 29736 sobre Reconversión Productiva Agropecuaria, que permitirá al Programa de Compensaciones para la Competitividad – Agroideas del Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego (MIDAGRI), la ampliación del impulso de estos proyectos en materia pecuaria.
Así lo señala la mencionada norma, que establece como órganos responsables de llevar adelante ese proceso, al MIDAGRI, a través del Programa de Compensaciones para la Competitividad – Agroideas.
Una de las principales modificaciones se ha dado en el artículo 6 de esa ley, que limitaba el desarrollo de los proyectos únicamente al tema agrícola. Con la aprobación de los textos sustitutorios, se permitirá ampliar el eje de trabajo a las actividades pecuarias en favor de más productores del país.
En el 2017 la Reconversión Productiva se extendió a nivel nacional, según el Decreto Supremo 019-2017-MINAGRI, atendiéndose hasta la fecha 13 regiones, donde se han aprobado 286 proyectos, beneficiando a 3297 pequeños y medianos productores y productoras. Para su ejecución, el Estado invirtió un total de S/ 208 millones, y la contrapartida de las organizaciones agrarias fue de S/ 42 millones.

Cabe señalar que desde la creación de Agroideas, se ha priorizado el desarrollo de esos proyectos de reconversión en la zona del VRAEM, apoyando el cambio de cultivo de hoja de coca por productos de exportación como el cacao y el café, además de la piña. También, se han cofinanciado proyectos en el norte, reconvirtiendo arroz y panllevar, por banano orgánico; mientras en Ica, se impulsó el cambio de algodón por mandarina Murcott, granada Wonderful y palta Hass.
Para la ejecución de estos proyectos, Agroideas acompaña, entre 3 a 5 años a las organizaciones, a fin de verificar el logro de los objetivos y la sostenibilidad en el tiempo de los agronegocios.

It should be noted that since the creation of Agroideas, the development of these reconversion projects in the VRAEM area has been prioritized, supporting the exchange of coca leaf cultivation for export products such as cocoa and coffee, in addition to pineapple. Also, projects have been co-financed in the north, converting rice and bread, for organic bananas; while in Ica, the exchange of cotton for Murcott mandarin, Wonderful pomegranate and Hass avocado was promoted.
For the execution of these projects, Agroideas accompanies the organizations for between 3 to 5 years, in order to verify the achievement of the objectives and the sustainability of the agribusiness over time.
