“En este gobierno vamos a potenciar la voz de las mujeres, vamos a empoderar a las mujeres. Y que bien que en las próximas gestiones haya más alcaldesas, que las mujeres asuman más cargos públicos”, enfatizó.

Al participar en la reunión del Ejecutivo y las alcaldesas del Bicentenario, realizada en el Centro de Convenciones de Lima, en el distrito de San Borja, el jefe del Estado dijo que asume un mea culpa por haber considerado, al inicio de su gestión, un número mayoritario de varones en el Gabinete Ministerial.

“Pero me voy a corregir, para que en el marco de las gestiones que vengamos dando, incluyamos a las damas, a las señoras que tienen bastante experiencia”, aseveró.

En otro momento, el mandatario instó a los ministros de Estado a abrir las puertas de sus portafolios a las alcaldesas del país y priorizar sus obras, al advertir que las mesas técnicas y de diálogo “han servido para mecer al pueblo”.

“Las mesas técnicas simplemente se han quedado en lo técnico. Invoco al Consejo de Ministros para que prioricemos las obras de las alcaldesas. Estamos seguros que ustedes nos darán muestras de transparencia, de lealtad y de una lucha firme contra la corrupción”, manifestó.

Dijo que así como el país cuenta con enfermeras y doctoras que se fajan por la salud de la población, “también encontramos alcaldesas que tienen que fajarse por una mejor gestión y trabajar de cara al pueblo, como le hemos dicho a los alcaldes y gobernadores regionales”.

“Así como hoy están frente al Gabinete, quisiera tenerlas en Palacio de Gobierno para, de una vez por todas, agilizar y viabilizar sus proyectos. Tenemos que pasar del discurso a la acción, del saludo a trabajar”, remarcó.

El jefe del Estado adelantó que, a nivel del Gobierno, con la participación de personas idóneas se formará un equipo de supervisión a las municipalidades, los gobiernos regionales, los ministerios y entidades públicas, para “ver adónde van los presupuestos que se les da desde el Estado”.

“También esperamos que ustedes (las alcaldesas) prioricen la infraestructura educativa, la salud. Las invoco para reunirnos con los alcaldes de los centros poblados y, en el marco de la verdadera descentralización, destinemos el presupuesto directamente donde está la necesidad”, señaló.

El presidente Castillo sostuvo que es necesario que las autoridades encaminen los grandes problemas con una visión de país y que “vean al Perú en unidad”, y aseguró que su gestión fortalecerá los gobiernos regionales y locales, “para que no solo realicemos las obras, sino también hagamos el esfuerzo por gestar mayor confianza en cada uno de los eslabones sociales”.

En la reunión estuvieron presentes el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Guido Bellido; los ministros de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez; de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte; de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Iber Maraví; de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Silva; y de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Geiner Alvarado; así como la alcaldesa distrital de Atavillos Alto, en la provincia de Huaral, Martha Baldeón, entre otras autoridades.

“The technical tables have simply remained technical. I invoke the Council of Ministers to prioritize the works of the mayors. We are sure that you will show us transparency, loyalty and a firm fight against corruption ”, he said.

He said that just as the country has nurses and doctors who fight for the health of the population, “we also find mayors who have to fight for better management and work towards the people, as we have told the mayors and regional governors ”.

“Just as they are in front of the Cabinet today, I would like to have them in the Government Palace to, once and for all, speed up and make their projects viable. We have to go from speech to action, from greeting to work ”, he remarked.

The Head of State announced that, at the Government level, with the participation of suitable persons, a supervisory team will be formed to the municipalities, regional governments, ministries and public entities, to “see where the budgets that are given from the state”.

“We also hope that you (the mayors) prioritize educational infrastructure, health. I invoke them to meet with the mayors of the populated centers and, within the framework of true decentralization, let us allocate the budget directly where the need is, ”he said.

President Castillo said that it is necessary for the authorities to address the major problems with a vision of the country and to “see Peru in unity”, and assured that his management will strengthen regional and local governments, “so that we not only carry out the works, but also let us make the effort to create greater trust in each of the social links ”.
