English translation
Judicial reforms such as civil orality and others will receive support from the executive, revealed the head of the judiciary Elvia Barrios.

Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe The President of the Judiciary, Elvia Barrios, said today that the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, told her, in a meeting held in the Palace of Justice, its willingness to grant the necessary resources to consolidate the reforms implemented in the judicial institution, such as civil orality, and others.

“We implemented with our own resources, in 17 courts, the civil orality that allows us to conclude the processes in six months, and this demands authorization of jurisdictional bodies and training, but we lack resources; in view of this, President Castillo has expressed the will to grant what is necessary for this reform to become a reality, “said Barrios Alvarado.

The working meeting, in which the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Aníbal Torres Vásquez; the Deputy Minister of Justice, Gilman Andía, and the chief judges Javier Arévalo Vela and Héctor Lama More, took place in the Agreement Hall of the Supreme Court.

At the meeting, they addressed various topics, especially the reforms that the justice system needs to speed up judicial processes.

IMPLEMENTING COMMISSION
“We have agreed (with the Executive) on the need for a commission to more adequately implement the immediate process so that they work in the police unit, where the judge, prosecutor, police can be, and we are working on it,” he said. .

Barrios Alvarado pointed out that another issue is concern about the countless labor processes in which the worker or the person who sued has a sentence in the first and second instance, and there is binding precedent as a consolidated jurisprudential line of the Supreme Court, but despite this the Attorney General’s Office continues to challenge them with appeals.

“We have a Supreme Court crammed with processes, a single Chamber handles 17 thousand social security processes. It is an enormous effort that is being made, but the delay is perceived as judicial inefficiency when basically everything derives from how the process is instrumentalized with serious damage to the worker, ”he said.

In this regard, Elvia Barrios highlighted the willingness of the president to solve this problem because “it depends on the Executive and the guidance it gives to the attorneys so that when there is compliance with two sentences, the Attorney General’s Office does not contest that fact.”

At the meeting, the need to implement the Panic Button application implemented in 35 courts at the national level, so that the victim of violence not only has protection in the area where they reside.

“We have shown him this application and President Pedro Castillo has been satisfied with this plan that we have for the victims of violence,” stressed the judicial authority, who also highlighted the importance of the platforms Digital Boxes for Judges and Judges, The Judge He listens to you, Sense of Judicial Decisions ”, he said.

On the other hand, the head of the Judiciary explained to the representatives of the Executive that the institution she directs has been developing a project, inspired by the Court of Costa Rica, to reduce the procedures of food trials, so that they can be seen in a only procedure and not as it is traditionally done, in the civil and criminal sphere, in a differentiated way.
