El mandatario de la nación Inca durante su mensaje señaló meridianamente que en su gobierno: “terminemos con todo tipo de discriminación. Es momento que, desde el Estado, los derechos se enmarquen en igualdad de condiciones”, enfatizó prístinamente el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, al liderar la instalación en nuestro país del CONAIG Comisión Nacional de Alto Nivel para la Igualdad de Género.
“Que esta comisión no sea una más de las tantas que se instalan, sino que empiece a avanzar, y que la población sienta que hay una comisión que verdaderamente le da su espacio”, remarcó.
Durante su discurso, el mandatario aseguró que el Gobierno garantizará los derechos fundamentales para todas las peruanas y peruanos en cada rincón del país.
“A partir de ahora se hará una lucha frontal para garantizar los derechos fundamentales para todas y todos. Y garantizar esos derechos significa reconocer sus usos, costumbres, tradiciones, valorar el papel que asumen las comunidades, los centros poblados, estos espacios sociales que están en los últimos rincones del país”, subrayó.
Sostuvo que la discriminación se manifiesta también de diferentes formas, como la discriminación social y física, e indicó que el Gobierno trabajará de manera mancomunada con sus instituciones para acabar con ese tipo de prácticas.
“En la práctica falta que el Estado dé las oportunidades del caso, por ejemplo, a personas que están en sillas de ruedas, a los discapacitados, y a quienes no piensan como nosotros”, dijo.
Se debe precisar que la CONAIG fue creada en julio del 2021, por medio del Decreto Supremo N° 018-2021-MIMP, tiene como objetivo garantizar la igualdad de género y no discriminación, así como hacer seguimiento a la implementación de la Política Nacional de Igualdad de Género; y es de carácter multisectorial y permanente.
La ceremonia se realizó en Palacio de Gobierno y en ella participaron la presidenta del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios; el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Guido Bellido; los ministros del Ambiente, Rubén Ramírez; de Cultura, Ciro Gálvez; de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke; de Educación, Juan Cadillo; del Interior, Juan Carrasco; de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Aníbal Torres; de la Producción, Yvan Quispe; y de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Iber Maraví.
Asimismo, la ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Anahí Durand; y la presidenta ejecutiva de la Autoridad Nacional del Servicio Civil (Servir), Janeyri Boyer Carrera.

And guaranteeing these rights means recognizing their uses, customs, traditions, valuing the role assumed by communities, populated centers, these social spaces that are in the last corners of the country ”, he stressed.
He argued that discrimination also manifests itself in different ways, such as social and physical discrimination, and indicated that the Government will work jointly with its institutions to end such practices.
“In practice, it is necessary for the State to give the appropriate opportunities, for example, to people who are in wheelchairs, to the disabled, and to those who do not think like us,” he said.
It should be specified that CONAIG was created in July 2021, through Supreme Decree No. 018-2021-MIMP, its objective is to guarantee gender equality and non-discrimination, as well as to monitor the implementation of the National Policy on Gender equality; and it is multisectoral and permanent.
