Ministro Juan Silva (MTC) estamos trabajando por la reactivación eficaz del sector de los transportistas de carga y pasajeros.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe En ese contexto, el titular del sector, Juan Francisco Silva, se reunió con los representantes de los gremios de transportistas de carga y pasajeros con el objetivo de trabajar de manera concertada en la atención de sus demandas y enfrentar la ilegalidad, a fin de brindar un servicio más seguro y de calidad.

En esta jornada, se acordó impulsar la formación de equipos de trabajo multisectorial para encontrar soluciones a las diversas situaciones que afrontan los transportistas y promover normas que respeten sus derechos.

De otro lado, Silva anunció que dará facilidades a los transportistas a fin de que puedan vacunarse contra la Covid-19 y brinden el servicio con todas las medidas sanitarias.

Respecto al Tambo Camionero de Ancón, el ministro indicó que se trabaja en ello para su próxima ejecución, con el propósito de ordenar el alto flujo de vehículos de carga pesada en el norte de Lima.

Durante la reunión, los transportistas manifestaron que la pandemia ha tenido un impacto significativo en su sector. Por ello, es importante dialogar con las distintas autoridades del Estado para lograr un equilibrio financiero.

Luis Flores, presidente de la Asociación de Empresas de Transporte Interprovincial de Pasajeros (COTRAP-APOIP), señaló que las principales demandas son el alza del precio de los combustibles, el precio de los peajes, el estado de la red vial nacional y la formalización de los terminales terrestres.

En tanto, Martín Ojeda, director del Consejo Nacional de Transporte Terrestre, sugirió intensificar los protocolos sanitarios en los buses interprovinciales y terminales terrestres.

En la reunión también participó la viceministra de Transportes, Verónica Cáceres; el director general de Políticas y Regulación en Transporte Multimodal, Fernando Cerna; la superintendente de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (Sutran), Patricia Cama; y el congresista por Tacna, Fernando Herrera.

REUNIÓN CON TRANSPORTISTAS MULTIMODAL
Como parte de la política de amplio diálogo con los diferentes gremios, el titular del sector sostuvo ayer otra reunión de trabajo con los gremios de transporte multimodal, de turismo y representantes de taxistas y mototaxistas. Tras una extensa sesión, se acordó conformar dos mesas técnicas de trabajo: uno de transporte urbano y otro de transporte logístico a fin de encontrar soluciones a sus principales demandas.
