630 puentes serán construidos en comunidades alejadas del país indicó el ministro Juan Silva al parlamento peruano.

“Son intervenciones puntuales, de corto plazo y de baja complejidad. Uno de los objetivos es reactivar la economía de las comunidades”, sostuvo el ministro Juan Francisco Silva en relación a la propuesta del sector.

El titular del MTC explicó dicho planteamiento como parte de su presentación ante la comisión de Transportes y Comunicaciones del Congreso de la República, en la que abordó las políticas de Transportes y Comunicaciones del gobierno.

Se detalló que el sector tendrá cuatro políticas que regirán sus funciones. Estas son la Política Nacional de Seguridad Vial, próxima a aprobarse; la Política Nacional de Telecomunicaciones, que se proyecta aprobar en el primer semestre de 2022; la Política Nacional de Transporte, aprobada en diciembre de 2021; y la Política Nacional de Transporte Urbano, que se encuentra en elaboración.

Como parte de su presentación en el Congreso, Silva reiteró que el sector continuará con la ejecución del proyecto de la nueva Carretera Central, autopista de 136 kilómetros de extensión y cuatro carriles, que incluye túneles y viaductos.

Otras carreteras importantes cuya ejecución prosigue en beneficio de la población son Canchaque-Huancabamba (Piura), Calemar-Abra El Naranjillo (La Libertad), Oyón-Ambo (Lima-Pasco), Canta-Huayllay (Pasco-Junín-Lima) y Negromayo-Yauri-San Genaro (Arequipa-Cusco).

En tanto, sobre el proyecto del Ferrocarril Huancayo-Huancavelica, se informó que ya se cuenta con los terrenos liberados.

Juan Francisco Silva también informó sobre los grandes proyectos aeroportuarios en marcha como la ampliación y modernización del Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez y la construcción del aeropuerto de Chinchero en Cusco, cuya primera etapa de movimiento de tierras tiene un avance de 21.49%.

Igualmente, destacó los proyectos de telecomunicaciones que buscan llevar Internet a todos los peruanos como los proyectos regionales de banda ancha que se viene ejecutando en 12 regiones del país.
