Bajo el lema “San Borja va a tu encuentro”, fueron beneficiados en esta campaña más de 120 comerciantes mayores de 27 años que no habían recibido la vacuna contra dicha enfermedad. Esto tomando como referencia el grupo etario dispuesto por el Ministerio de Salud desde esta fecha, a nivel nacional.
De igual manera, la gerencia de Salud Pública de la comuna detectó a 20 trabajadores que tenían pendiente la colocación de la segunda dosis, transcurridos al menos 21 días desde la primera, los mismos que también fueron vacunados gracias a esta iniciativa.
El objetivo de esta intervención es facilitar que las personas que no puedan desplazarse hasta los vacunatorios -por cumplir sus horarios de trabajo- tengan la posibilidad de vacunarse en sus mismos centros de labores. Esto es posible gracias al trabajo coordinado entre la Municipalidad de San Borja y la DIRIS Lima Centro.
Esta nueva modalidad preventiva se inició en los mercados, por ser zonas de alta concurrencia de público y por la particularidad de que sus trabajadores cumplen horarios permanentes, de lunes a domingo. Entre los mercados intervenidos se destacan El Edén, Agroartesanal, Mi pequeño mercado, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Virgen de la Nieves, entre otros.
Asimismo, como estrategia preventiva ante la eventualidad de una tercera ola de contagios de Covid-19, se realizaron pruebas moleculares a decenas de comerciantes, para lo cual intervinieron los equipos de la DIRIS Lima Centro y el personal de la comuna sanborjina.
