Durante esta visita, que forma parte de su agenda de trabajo internacional, el mandatario peruano realizó un recorrido por las instalaciones de dicha institución, donde dialogó con la directora Sol Corrales, quien le dio su testimonio de cómo migró hasta ese país en 1975, y después de mucho esfuerzo pudo crear esta escuela que actualmente brinda servicios educativos de todos los niveles.
En el evento estuvieron presentes los ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Óscar Maúrtua; de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke; la primera Dama, Lilia Paredes; y miembros de la Embajada de Perú en México.
