Titulares del MTC y ATU inspecciona tramo de la Carretera Central en Santa Anita con miras a reabrir el tránsito vehicular.

“Hemos establecido una serie de compromisos entre las autoridades de ATU, Ositran, la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima, los alcaldes de las Mancomunidad Lima Este, la concesionaria de la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao y los demás involucrados para agilizar acciones y reabrir las vías, y así mejorar la calidad de vida de la población”, sostuvo el ministro Silva.

Esta visita de trabajo es una de las acciones que el MTC ha iniciado para optimizar la Carretera Central. Se realizó como parte de las tareas que se establecieron en la reunión con los alcaldes de la Mancomunidad de Lima Este, que se llevó a cabo el 7 de setiembre.

De esta manera, el MTC cumple con ejecutar acciones que mejoren las condiciones de la Carretera Central.

Con el fin de realizar un trabajo articulado, la inspección contó con la participación de la viceministra de Transportes, Verónica Cáceres; la presidenta ejecutiva de ATU, María Jara; la gerenta de Movilidad Urbana de la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima, Luisa Burga Cervera; y el director general de la Dirección General de Programas y Proyectos de Transportes del MTC, Emerson Castro.

Estuvieron presentes el presidente de la Mancomunidad Lima Este y burgomaestre de Chaclacayo, Manuel Campos Sologuren, y los alcaldes de Santa Anita, José Nole Palomino; de San Luis, David Rojas Maza; y de Ate, Edde Cuéllar Alegría.

Cabe destacar que la Carretera Central está cerrada parcialmente al tránsito vehicular del Óvalo de Santa Anita hasta la avenida La Cultura, por la ejecución de los trabajos en la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao.

In order to carry out an articulated work, the inspection counted on the participation of the Vice Minister of Transport, Verónica Cáceres; the executive president of ATU, María Jara; the manager of Urban Mobility of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, Luisa Burga Cervera; and the general director of the General Directorate of Transportation Programs and Projects of the MTC, Emerson Castro.

It should be noted that the Central Highway is partially closed to vehicular traffic from Óvalo de Santa Anita to Avenida La Cultura, due to the execution of the works on Line 2 of the Lima and Callao Metro.
