El Secretario General de la Corte Suprema, Carlos Peñaloza, explicó que los expedientes que llegan de las cortes superiores serán digitalizados, desde su ingreso en Mesa de Partes lo que significará un ahorro de tiempo debido a que no será necesario el traslado físico del expediente judicial.
Detalló, asimismo, que en este proceso de digitalización se indexarán las principales piezas del expediente, lo que permitirá al juez hacer una búsqueda más rápida de una parte determinada del documento al momento de analizar y resolver el caso.
“Vuelve más expeditivo el trabajo, porque va directamente a lo que (el juez) está buscando”, señaló.
Agregó que para este plan de digitalización, la Presidencia del Poder Judicial dispuso la compra de tres escáneres de alta producción, los cuales escanean cuatrocientos cincuenta hojas por minuto.
Esta labor se inició el mes de agosto en la Tercera Sala de Derecho Constitucional y Social Transitoria de la Corte Suprema, debido a la elevada carga procesal que esta posee.
PRIMERA FASE
El funcionario informó también que al inicio de la gestión se encontraron hasta once mil expediente pendientes de ingreso en la Tercera Sala de Derecho Constitucional y Social Transitoria, y en cumplimiento de la primera fase del Plan de Descarga Procesal, que comprende la agilización del ingreso de los expedientes, seis mil ya fueron registrados e ingresados a la Mesa de Partes del SIJ.
Añadió que el objetivo de la implementación del plan de descarga es reducir al mínimo la carga procesal en el referido Tribunal Supremo a fin de año.
Asimismo, que el éxito de este plan significaría su implementación no solo en las demás Salas Supremas, sino en todas las Cortes a nivel nacional.

The official also reported that at the beginning of the management, up to eleven thousand files were found pending entry in the Third Chamber of Transitional Constitutional and Social Law, and in compliance with the first phase of the Procedural Discharge Plan, which includes expediting the entry of the files, six thousand have already been registered and entered into the SIJ Parties Table.
He added that the objective of the implementation of the discharge plan is to minimize the procedural burden in the aforementioned Supreme Court by the end of the year.
Likewise, that the success of this plan would mean its implementation not only in the other Supreme Chambers, but in all the Courts nationwide.
