Un equipo de especialistas del INCOR llegará a Cusco para iniciar su labor con dos intervenciones de alta complejidad a pacientes que padecen enfermedades cardiacas, anunció el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Mario Carhuapoma, quien cumple una visita de trabajo a esa región del sur del país en compañía de la primera dama, Lilia Paredes.

El doctor Carhuapoma Yance recordó que la última operación al corazón realizada en el Cusco fue hace 17 años y con la iniciativa Misión INCOR, que impulsa su gestión, se están descentralizando los servicios altamente especializados, brindando así una atención oportuna y de calidad a los asegurados del interior del país.

“El órgano más importante y noble es el corazón. Me reportan que en el Cusco hay 50 a 60 casos de cardiopatías que requieren una cirugía especializada y no vamos a permitir que los cusqueños viajen hasta Lima dejando a sus familias, gastando tiempo y perjudicando su economía. Por ello, el INCOR viene al Cusco y lo llevaremos también a las 25 regiones de nuestra patria porque ese es el compromiso que hemos asumido en EsSalud”, anunció el titular del Seguro Social de Salud.

En los próximos días, el equipo multidisciplinario del INCOR operará a dos personas con enfermedades cardíacas en el hospital Adolfo Guevara de EsSalud Cusco y capacitará al personal asistencial local en el manejo de pacientes cardíacos con patologías complejas, transmitiéndoles su amplia experiencia y conocimientos.

“Esta acción se enmarca en la decisión política del gobierno del presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo, de acortar las brechas en servicios de salud y llevar profesionales altamente especializados a las regiones para brindar una atención oportuna y de calidad a más peruanos”, destacó la máxima autoridad de EsSalud.

El doctor Carhuapoma Yance destacó el respaldo y apoyo de la primera dama a las acciones de su gestión en materia de descentralización de las operaciones al corazón y del tratamiento de niños con cáncer.

OTRAS REGIONES
El plan de continuidad del Sistema Nacional de Cuidado Cardiovascular, denominado “Misión INCOR”, fue presentado la semana pasada por el titular de EsSalud en el hospital Ramiro Prialé de Huancayo, en Junín. En esa ocasión, la brigada especializada del INCOR, liderado el Dr. Julio Morón Castro, operó con éxito a dos pacientes adultos, quienes vienen recuperándose satisfactoriamente.

El programa “Misión INCOR” también llegará a la ciudad de Trujillo para realizar cirugías cardiovasculares a dos pacientes pediátricos. Asimismo, visitará las regiones de Lambayeque, Arequipa y Loreto donde intervendrá quirúrgicamente a un total de 12 pacientes y realizará 60 procedimientos no invasivos de ecocardiografía.

LUCHA CONTRA LA CORRUPCIÓN
De otro lado, el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud reiteró su compromiso de acabar con la corrupción que pudiera afectar a la institución.

“En EsSalud brindamos salud de calidad y sin corrupción. En nuestra institución se acabó el tema de la corrupción y los involucrados serán separados y sancionados. Lucharemos para terminar con las sobrevaloraciones, los sobrecostos y los servicios que han sido manejados de manera maliciosa. Eso no lo vamos a permitir. Los recursos que tenemos son para dar calidad de salud y de vida a nuestros asegurados”, subrayó Carhuapoma Yance.

CÁNCER INFANTIL
Posteriormente, el titular del Seguro Social de Salud se trasladará hasta Urubamba, donde firmará un importante convenio con la Asociación Vidawasi para fortalecer el diagnóstico, tratamiento y cuidado paliativo del cáncer y otras enfermedades pediátricas.

Mediante el convenio, ambas instituciones se comprometerán, entre otras acciones, a promover estados de vida saludables, desarrollar prácticas en la detección precoz y tratamiento integral de enfermedades pediátricas y lucha contra el cáncer infantil de la población asegurada.

Finalmente, el funcionario junto a la primera dama, recorrerán las instalaciones residenciales y servicios complementarios de salud que componen la ciudadela Vidawasi, próxima a inaugurarse, donde se brindará atención integral a los niños y familias más vulnerables de las regiones altoandinas del país.

Existen 50 casos de pacientes cardiacos que se remiten de Cusco a Lima cada año a un costo de 60,000 soles por cada uno, lo que equivale un ahorro de aproximadamente unos tres millones de soles.

Las operaciones cardiológicas más requeridas son:

Cateterismo cardiaco.
Cardiopatías congénitas pediátricas.
