Presidenta del poder judicial Elvia Barrios realizó visita inopinada a Corte Superior de Ica y constató vergonzosos hallazgos.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe A fin de monitorear y constatar la correcta administración de justicia, la presidenta del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios Alvarado, realizó hoy una visita inopinada a la sede del Módulo Penal de la Corte Superior de Justicia de Ica, ubicada en la ciudad del mismo nombre.

Barrios Alvarado, quien está a cargo también de la Unidad de Equipo Técnico Institucional del Código Procesal Penal (UETI-CPP), inspeccionó el referido recinto, donde verificó personalmente la labor que realizan los jueces y juezas, así como los auxiliares jurisdiccionales.

En declaraciones a la prensa, la máxima autoridad judicial dio cuenta que solo tres jueces estuvieron realizando labores presenciales en el mencionado Módulo Penal en este día, y que 3994 audiencias en materia penal fueron suspendidas en el distrito judicial de Ica, lo que ameritaría la intervención del órgano de control del Poder Judicial.

“Advertimos un significativo número de audiencias frustradas que se explicarían por la multiplicidad de razones como ausentismo del fiscal, de los defensores públicos, problemas de notificación y otras razones, cuestiones que deben tomarse en cuenta para mejorar el servicio”, manifestó.

La visita desarrollada sin aviso previo al Distrito Judicial de Ica forma parte de la política de gestión de la doctora Barrios Alvarado orientada a fortalecer la impartición de justicia en beneficio de los justiciables, verificando in situ eventuales falencias de la institución para implementar las medidas correctivas.

La autoridad judicial resaltó también que durante su gestión está impulsando el uso de aplicativos tecnológicos como Casillero Digital de Jueces y Juezas, el Módulo del Sentido Decisiones Judiciales para fortalecer la celeridad y transparencia de los procesos judiciales.

“Tenemos un sistema de monitoreo de expedientes que permite medir la labor de los jueces y jueces. Estamos trabajando en una verdadera transformación digital y transparencia”, puntualizó.

The visit carried out without prior notice to the Judicial District of Ica is part of the management policy of Dr. Barrios Alvarado aimed at strengthening the administration of justice for the benefit of the defendants, verifying in situ any shortcomings of the institution to implement corrective measures.
