“Desde aquí, aliento a todos a seguir trabajando para que en diciembre próximo podamos colocar la primera piedra del nuevo terminal, y en el año 2025 todos podamos contar con un nuevo aeropuerto, obra que estoy seguro nos hará sentirnos orgullosos de ser peruanos y peruanas, y de nuestro maravilloso país.”, aseguró, tras participar en la firma del contrato de la referida licitación.
Durante la actividad oficial, el jefe de Estado informó que la última etapa de mejoramiento del aeropuerto Jorge Chávez se incluirá el diseño y la construcción de una segunda pista de aterrizaje y despegue, así como una nueva torre de control con edificios conexos que permitirá un mayor flujo de llegada de viajeros de los cinco continentes.
Asimismo, en el marco de la reactivación económica, el mandatario resaltó que, con las mejoras de la infraestructura aérea comercial, el país podrá lograr el gran flujo turístico que siempre nos caracterizó, incrementando el número de visitas internacionales y la llegada de divisas para beneficio de todos.
Si bien resaltó la necesidad de promover el turismo receptivo, el presidente Castillo también recalcó que esta ampliación generará importantes recursos para todo el Perú, los mismos que servirán para mejorar enormemente la infraestructura de nuestros aeropuertos regionales y la cadena de valor turístico-laboral que implica este dinamismo económico interno.
“No olvidemos que el turismo es otro de los pilares más importantes de la actividad económica y estamos trabajando como Gobierno no sólo en mejorar el aeropuerto Jorge Chávez, sino también para que los aeropuertos regionales tengan las condiciones necesarias de incrementar el flujo turístico. Este es el Gobierno del pueblo y para el pueblo”, acotó.
