Gobierno declara seis días como no laborables para los trabajadores del sector público a nivel nacional.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, promulgó hoy el Decreto Supremo N° 161-2021-PCM que declara seis días como no laborables para los trabajadores del sector público a nivel nacional, a fin de fomentar el desarrollo del turismo interno en el país, instrumento dinamizador que permitirá seguir impulsando la reactivación económica del Perú.

Es importante remarcar que en el marco del Plan de Reactivación del Sector Turístico, el gobierno busca generar un total de 14.6 millones de viajes y un movimiento económico de $1.5 millones, como resultado de las campañas de turismo interno en las 25 regiones. En ese contexto, se establece los días no laborables sujetos a horas de trabajo compensables, correspondientes al período comprendido entre octubre 2021 y enero del 2022, que se promueve desde hace más de 10 años para el sector público, el mismo que establece días no laborables sujetos a compensación o recuperación de horas no trabajadas.

El Decreto Supremo de edición extraordinaria contempla los siguientes días: lunes 11 de octubre; martes 2 de noviembre; viernes 24, lunes 27 y viernes 31 de diciembre del 2021, y lunes 3 de enero del 2022.

Sobre las entidades públicas, es importante precisar que las horas dejadas de trabajar durante los días no laborables serán compensadas en los 10 días inmediatos posteriores, o en la oportunidad que establezca el titular de cada entidad.

Para el caso de los centros de trabajo del sector privado, estos podrán acogerse a lo dispuesto en la presente medida, previo acuerdo entre el empleador y sus trabajadores, quienes deberán establecer la forma cómo se hará efectiva la recuperación de las horas dejadas de laborar. En caso no haya un acuerdo entre las partes, decidirá el contratante. Se recuerda que, a la fecha existen 25 regiones que han recibido por parte del Consejo Mundial de Viaje y Turismo (WTTC) el sello Safe Travels, que certifica a 52 destinos nacionales que sí cumplen con los estándares internacionales de higiene y bioseguridad.
