El Centro de Cooperación estará a cargo de la Secretaría de Gobierno Digital de la PCM y constituye un importante avance para impulsar el aprovechamiento de las tecnologías de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial en favor de la reactivación de nuestra economía, el fortalecimiento de la educación e inclusión digital y el ejercicio de la ciudadanía digital de toda la población.
“La relevancia del Centro de Cooperación radica en que existe una imperiosa necesidad de digitalizar los servicios públicos y de esa manera desburocratizar el Perú con miras a una administración eficiente, que pueda solucionar realmente los problemas de los ciudadanos y ciudadanas”, manifestó la premier.
Añadió que desde el gobierno del presidente Pedro Castillo no se declinará en el propósito de convertir al Perú en una sociedad moderna, implementando las alternativas que las nuevas tecnologías ofrecen en beneficio de todos los peruanos y peruanas.
A su turno, el ministro adjunto al Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Corea, Yeo Seung-bae, indicó que esta iniciativa expresa la firme voluntad del Gobierno coreano para fortalecer la cooperación con el Perú bajo la asociación estratégica.
“El Gobierno coreano destinará los recursos económicos y humanos al Gobierno del Perú para que podamos seguir en la cooperación de los proyectos digitales como el sistema de administración de justicia penal, la red de telecomunicaciones y la ciudad inteligente”, expresó.
Por otra parte, Marushka Chocobar, secretaria de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la PCM, señaló que el año 2017 el Gobierno peruano firmó un convenio de cooperación con la República de Corea. Esta cooperación, dijo, se ha renovado este año hasta el 2023. Indicó que la inauguración del Centro de Cooperación es el primer gran hito de este acuerdo.
En la ceremonia de inauguración también participó Luis González Norris, secretario general de la PCM. Asimismo, por parte de la delegación coreana estuvieron presentes Yungjoon Jo, embajador de Corea en el Perú, así como Song Hosoon, director adjunto senior del Ministerio del Interior y Seguridad y Jaeho Lee, vicepresidente de la Agencia Nacional de la Sociedad de la Información, entre otros.

“The Korean Government will allocate economic and human resources to the Government of Peru so that we can continue in the cooperation of digital projects such as the criminal justice administration system, the telecommunications network and the smart city,” he said.
On the other hand, Marushka Chocobar, secretary of Government and Digital Transformation of the PCM, pointed out that in 2017 the Peruvian Government signed a cooperation agreement with the Republic of Korea. This cooperation, he said, has been renewed this year until 2023. He indicated that the inauguration of the Cooperation Center is the first major milestone of this agreement.
Luis González Norris, general secretary of the PCM, also participated in the opening ceremony. Also present on the part of the Korean delegation were Yungjoon Jo, Korean ambassador to Peru, as well as Song Hosoon, senior deputy director of the Ministry of the Interior and Security and Jaeho Lee, vice president of the National Information Society Agency, among others.
