José Pedro Castillo Terrones, es un docente, rondero, dirigente sindical y político peruano. Fue ungido democráticamente presidente constitucional de la República del Perú el 28 de julio de este año para un periodo de gobierno de cinco años.

Es el tercero de nueve hermanos, hijos de Ireño Castillo Núñez y Mavila Terrones Guevara, agricultores, su padre nació en una hacienda de los Herrera, familia de terratenientes de la sierra de Cajamarca, la familia trabajaba dichas tierras por las que pagaba un alquiler a sus dueños hasta junio de 1969, cuando el Gobierno Revolucionario de la Fuerza Armada del general Juan Velasco Alvarado llevó a cabo la reforma agraria en el país.

Se conoce que durante su adolescencia y juventud el que llegaría a ser el actual presidente del Perú, viajó por diversas parte del país, para reunir los fondos económicos para sus estudios.

Sus biógrafos señalan que José Pedro Castillo Terrones, a la edad de doce años, él y su padre caminaban 140 kilómetros (87 millas) para realizar labores estacionales en los cafetales de la Amazonía peruana, esta era actividad que lo hacían año a año; y significa la oportunidad de reunir los fondos necesarios para el pago de sus estudios, durante esa época Castillo Terrones vendió helados, periódicos y se dedicó a la limpieza de habitaciones en hoteles de Lima.

Posteriormente cursaría estudios en el Instituto Superior Pedagógico Octavio Matta Contreras de la provincia de Cutervo obteniendo el grado de bachiller en educación por la Universidad César Vallejo, donde también obtuvo un magíster en Psicología Educativa. Para aquellos años ya se había desempeñado como profesor de primaria desde 1995, habiendo trabajado en la Institución Educativa Primaria N.º 10465 ubicada en Puña, Tacabamba. Además de enseñar, era responsable de cocinar para sus alumnos y limpiar su salón de clases; al respecto en algunos diálogos el mandatario peruano José Pedro Castillo Terrones ha manifestado que la comunidad construyó la escuela después de no recibir asistencia de los diversos gobiernos en aquellos años.

El actual jefe de Estado del Perú, se unió en matrimonio en el año 2000 con la profesora Lilia Ulcida Paredes Navarro, su pareja desde la adolescencia, ambos tienen dos hijos una niña llamada Alondra y un varón llamado Arnold; a la muerte de la madre de la esposa hoy Primera Dama, ambos se hacen cargo de Yenifer, hermana menor de Lilia, quienes la han criado como una hija más por la pareja presidencial.

El gobierno de José Pedro Castillo Terrones, cuenta con poco menos de tres mese de estrenado, ya han enfrentado y seguirán haciéndolo a una oposición política y grupos fácticos de poder que intentan desestabilizarlo con el fin de que las cosas continúen tal como lo tiene el status quo en este país.

Según los estudios de la economía en la nación Inca este año y el que viene se registrará uno de los mayores crecimientos a nivel mundial que vigorizará las cuentas fiscales; para este año 2021 ha crecido la proyección de crecimiento del PBI a 10,5%, como resultado de la fuerte recuperación de la actividad económica impulsada tanto por factores externos como internos.

Sin embargo a pesar de lo anteriormente señalado el Perú visualiza todavía y cada día es más notorio los problemas endémicos de los cuales no sale, y que afectan al país, como la concentración de la riqueza en manos de pocas personas, existiendo una incontrolable distribución preferencial del ingreso a los sectores más ricos fomentado aunque parezca increíble por el propio Estado; trastocando la situación económica familiar que se traduce en la falta de empleo, ingresos familiares bajos, inflación, la inseguridad ciudadana, el narcotráfico y la corrupción no solo pública sino también privada que ha corroído las bases sociales de la nación.

En suma bajo este contexto y en esta nueva realidad el presidente José Pedro Castillo Terrones, cumple 52 años de edad, y seguramente no será una fecha común como otros cumpleaños, pero estamos seguro que sea una fecha para que personifique los cambios por los cuales millones de peruanos lo ungieron como mandatario del país.
