EsSalud: ingresos crecen en 2% pese a la pandemia de la COVID-19, y seguimos creciendo a pesar de los intereses desestabilizadores, indicó su titular.

Así lo informaron en rueda de prensa, el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Mario Carhuapoma, y el gerente general de la institución, Eloy Durán, quienes dieron a conocer los avances logrados por la actual administración en los más de dos meses al frente de esta institución.

Otro aspecto importante, es la recuperación de S/ 150 millones de la deuda que tienen entidades públicas y privadas con EsSalud, lo que significa un avance de 3%, respecto al proceso de rescate de la deuda total (S/ 5,320 millones), recursos que también serán utilizados en la mejora de los servicios de salud.

“Los ingresos han aumentado 2% en una etapa en la que estamos en pleno proceso de recuperación de la pandemia, eso como 190 millones de soles, y se ha recuperado otros 150 millones de la deuda que tienen diversas instituciones con EsSalud”, manifestó Durán.

El gerente general de EsSalud enfatizó que la actual gestión viene dinamizando la cartera de proyectos, con lo cual se espera duplicar las inversiones, aspecto en el que destacó la puesta en funcionamiento, en noviembre próximo, de 6 hospitales modulares que tienen una duración de 20 años, y la construcción de modernos nosocomios en Lima, Piura, Cajamarca, Áncash y otras regiones.

Asimismo, mencionó que en el 2023 se pondrá en funcionamiento la torre más grande de consulta externa, conocida como Torre Trecca, en la que se proyecta atender cerca de un millón 500 mil consultas médicas al año.

IRREGULARIDADES
Durante el encuentro con los medios de comunicación, Durán dio a conocer que la actual administración halló una serie de irregularidades en los procesos de compra de bienes y servicios que han sido puestos de conocimiento a la Contraloría General, fiscalía y Poder Judicial para las acciones correspondientes.

Mencionó que se encontró un lote de medicinas, dispositivos médicos e insumos de laboratorio vencidos por un valor superior a los S/ 19 millones, compras realizadas entre el 2011 y el 2021, así como productos similares por otros S/ 117 millones, que están siendo distribuidos a las redes asistenciales ante su próxima caducidad.

También que hubo un sobre stock de medicamentos, cuyas compras superan los S/ 260 millones, así como la sobrevaloración en la adquisición de una planta de oxígeno, por la cual se pagó casi S/ 5.5 millones, cuando una de similares características que fue adquirida por el gobierno regional de Áncash costaba dos millones 045 mil soles.

RECHAZA DENUNCIAS
En el encuentro con la prensa, el doctor Mario Carhuapoma aclaró las denuncias periodísticas en su contra y afirmó que detrás de estas existen intereses políticos y económicos para desestabilizar su gestión.

“Este andamiaje (de denuncias) contra mi persona, contra mi gestión no son gratuitas, hay muchos intereses políticos y económicos y EsSalud tiene que dejar de estar sometido a estos intereses”, expresó.

Consultado por la posibilidad de renunciar al cargo, Carhuapoma Yance dijo que “no existe argumento o motivación para ello. Sin embargo, todos los funcionarios están sometidos a permanente evaluación”.
