El fin de la medida de fuerza fue uno de los seis acuerdos a los que se llegó como producto de las conversaciones con los alcaldes distritales de Cotabambas, así como los dirigentes de las comunidades. Estas fueron realizadas en el estadio del centro poblado de Pisaccasa, distrito de Mara, de la citada provincia apurimeña. En el acta de acuerdos destaca también el relanzamiento del espacio de diálogo denominado Comisión Multisectorial de la provincia de Cotabambas y el distrito de Progreso, que se oficializará a través de una resolución suprema.

Del mismo modo, Mirtha Vásquez anunció que la empresa minera comenzará a pagar el respectivo canon, lo que era una de las principales demandas de la población. “Estamos en condiciones de anunciar que ya el 2022 se empieza a pagar el canon minero para esta zona y para el país. Desde el 2022 hay el compromiso de pagar el canon minero, que esa era una demanda que ustedes tenían y que ahora la vamos a cumplir”, manifestó.

A su turno, Gustavo Guerra-García, viceministro de Hacienda, del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, explicó el procedimiento para este pago, el cual se hará efectivo desde enero del 2022 y sobre el cual se tendrá el monto exacto en diciembre de este año, adelantó.

Asimismo, se anunció que en enero del 2022 se contará con los recursos para el proyecto de mejoramiento del hospital de Tambobamba, además del impulso a los proyectos de mejoramiento del sistema de agua potable y saneamiento básico integral en las localidades de Pucur y Santa Rosa de Huaqueray, distrito de Mara, así como el mejoramiento y rehabilitación del camino vecinal Huaquira-Ccocha Dispensa-Huanca Umuytu-Piscocalla-Pampa San José y Chalhuapuquio distrito Haquira.

Además, se acordó que el día 8 de noviembre de 2021 se realizará una reunión para abordar la agenda del Decreto Supremo 005-2016-PC, del distrito de Challhuahuacho, por participación del Ministerio de Energía y Minas y del Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego.
