Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Un conjunto de propuestas en torno a la masificación más rápida y efectiva del gas de Camisea, sobre todo entre las familias del sur del país, fueron evaluadas durante la visita de la premier Mirtha Vásquez, el Gabinete Ministerial y el presidente Pedro Castillo al departamento de Cusco, donde se desarrolló el primer Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado.

La primera ministra destacó que, como parte de esta visita de trabajo, los miembros del Ejecutivo visitaron la provincia de La Convención, zona donde se encuentra la planta gas de Camisea, y explicó que uno de los objetivos del Gobierno es ver la manera de que más familias, sobre todo del sur del país, cuenten con este servicio.

Añadió que se reunieron con los representantes de la empresa Pluspetrol, quienes brindaron al Ejecutivo toda la información sobre las operaciones de la empresa respecto al gas. “Ellos también tienen propuestas sobre cómo masificar el gas de manera más rápida y con menores costos”, adelantó.

Al respecto, dijo que esto podría lograrse mediante la transformación del gas natural en GLP para que sea distribuido entre la población. “Hoy nos han planteado esta propuesta y hemos quedado en discutirla de manera técnica”, explicó.

LEVANTAN MEDIDAS DE FUERZA
Asimismo, Mirtha Vásquez resaltó el compromiso del Gobierno por resolver los conflictos sociales a través de procesos de diálogo y sin represión. En ese sentido, anunció el levantamiento de la medida de fuerza que mantenía la población del distrito cusqueño de Livitaca, producto de la acción de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, a través del Viceministerio de Gobernanza.

“Ellos han estado dialogando todo el día y en ese momento se ha levantado el paro. Este Gobierno reafirma su compromiso por un diálogo transformador. No usaremos la represión como medida para acallar las demandas justas que tiene la población”, expresó tras destacar también la reinstalación del diálogo en la zona del Corredor Minero, en Apurímac, y la instalación de una mesa de trabajo con los agricultores cocaleros en Juliaca.

En conferencia de prensa, Vásquez Chuquilín estuvo acompañada del ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur), Roberto Sánchez, así como el titular de Economía y Finanzas (MEF), Pedro Francke, además del gobernador regional de Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente.

ANUNCIOS POR SECTORES
El titular del Mincetur destacó la aprobación de un decreto de urgencia para otorgar subvenciones a los guías de turismo, artesanos y asociaciones de artesanos. Asimismo, anunció un aumento en el aforo para las visitas al santuario de Machu Picchu y nuevas medidas para el ingreso de turistas al país.

Por su parte, el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke, informó que, en lo que va del Gobierno, se han transferido más de mil millones de soles a los gobiernos regionales, locales y a otros sectores, como parte del esfuerzo del Ejecutivo por reactivar la economía e impulsar la inversión pública.

En relación al Cusco, el titular del MEF explicó que se ha transferido, entre otras partidas, 91 millones de soles para el programa Trabaja Perú, que permitirá generar 2,200 empleos. También informó que se ha transferido 18.5 millones de soles a municipios provinciales y distritales del Cusco, que se han visto seriamente afectados por la falta de turistas.

A su turno, el gobernador regional del Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente García, consideró que el proceso de masificación del gas en su región no tiene marcha atrás y anunció que el próximo mes se colocará la primera piedra del terminal de pasajeros y la pista de aterrizaje del nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Chinchero.

We will not use repression as a measure to silence the just demands that the population has, ”he said, after also highlighting the reinstatement of dialogue in the Mining Corridor area, in Apurímac, and the installation of a work table with coca growers in Juliaca.
