Oposición se queda sin aliento ante designación de Avelino Guillen al frente del Ministerio del Interior

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Oposición se queda sin aliento y totalmente anonadada ante designación de Avelino Guillen al frente del Ministerio del Interior, el mandatario de la nación Inca, Pedro Castillo Terrones, comentaría luego al respecto con las siguientes expresiones: “tu experiencia y trayectoria nos permitirán seguir luchando contra la delincuencia y cumplir los anhelos de nuestro pueblo”, resaltó el jefe de Estado peruano.

Es así que el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones Terrones, tomó juramento hoy a Avelino Guillén Jáuregui como nuevo ministro del Interior, en una ceremonia realizada en la sala Cáceres de Palacio de Gobierno. La ceremonia contó con la presencia de la titular del Consejo de Ministros, Mirtha Vásquez, y de los ministros de Estado.

Avelino Guillén es un destacado abogado y jurista. Formó parte del Ministerio Público y, como tal, participó en la investigación de diversos casos vinculados a la lucha contra la corrupción y la defensa de los derechos humanos.

Como fiscal supremo, tuvo una destacada participación en el caso La Cantuta y Barrios Altos. En el 2009 recibió el Premio Nacional de Derechos Humanos “Ángel Escobar Jurado”, otorgado por la Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos, en reconocimiento a su trayectoria.

Guillén, asimismo, fue integrante del equipo técnico de Perú Libre y, durante la última campaña electoral, participó en el debate técnico en el bloque sobre seguridad ciudadana y orden interno.

Tras la juramentación, el presidente Pedro Castillo dio la bienvenida al nuevo ministro del Interior. “Tu conocimiento, experiencia y trayectoria nos permitirán seguir luchando contra la delincuencia y, además, estaremos más cerca de cumplir los anhelos profundos de nuestro pueblo”, destacó.

Con el nuevo ministro del Interior, el Gabinete en su conjunto se dirigió a la sede del Congreso de la República para asistir a la sesión plenaria donde se definirá el voto de confianza.
