El mandatario llegó al distrito de Santa María de Chicmo, en la provincia de Andahuaylas (Apurímac), para liderar la ceremonia de siembra de “Quinua nativa orgánica de mil colores” y entregar tractores a las organizaciones de productores agrícolas. Ello como parte de la política de industrialización del agro en el marco de la Segunda Reforma Agraria.

“Estamos promoviendo la producción de nuestro propio suelo y, además, estamos desarrollando nuestras carreteras con el objetivo de acercar los productos de la chacra al mercado”, manifestó.

Cabe recordar que la Segunda Reforma Agraria es una política de gobierno proyectada sin expropiaciones ni confiscaciones y busca orientar las políticas públicas en favor del desarrollo de la agricultura familiar, comunera y cooperativa. Para ello, el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego ha planteado nueve ejes o líneas estratégicas de gestión, entre ellas: Seguridad alimentaria, asociatividad y cooperativismo, infraestructura hidráulica, servicio civil agrario-SECIGRA agrario.

Del mismo modo, propone la industrialización rural, mercados de productores y compras estatales, articulación intergubernamental e intersectorial en el territorio, repoblamiento ganadero, crédito desde un banco de fomento agrario al servicio principalmente de la agricultura familiar.

El Jefe de Estado destacó que en doscientos años de vida Republicana es la primera vez que un mandatario lleva tractores al distrito de Santa María de Chicmo. Asimismo, dijo que la Segunda Reforma Agraria comprende la dotación de fertilizantes y la capacitación de ingenieros.

“Queremos que estos profesionales se capaciten y regresen a su tierra para impulsar con energía la tierra que los vio nacer”, enfatizó. Finalmente, adelantó que luego que culmine la etapa de vacunación en el país, llamará a los microempresarios y emprendedores para solucionar sus demandas. “Hay mucho por hacer en esta patria, pero estamos dando el primer paso”, sentenció.

“We want these professionals to be trained and return to their land to energetically boost the land where they were born,” he emphasized. Finally, he announced that after the vaccination stage in the country is finished, he will call micro-entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to solve their demands. “There is much to do in this country, but we are taking the first step,” he said.
