Es así que este año, con motivo de la celebración del décimo aniversario de este prestigioso reconocimiento, se llevarán a cabo diversas acciones turísticas, culturales y de descentralización en Ucayali, informó la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo.
La ciudad de Pucallpa será la sede de este evento de interés nacional, que se llevará a cabo desde hoy al 12 de noviembre, para festejar la importancia de poseer en nuestro territorio una de las maravillas naturales del mundo, que superó a 28 competidores finalistas de otros países en 2011.
Como parte de las celebraciones del “Décimo Aniversario del río Amazonas como Maravilla Natural del Mundo”, se realizará una sesión descentralizada de la comisión de Comercio Exterior y Turismo del Congreso, en la comunidad nativa de San Francisco hoy 10 de noviembre, hecho que marca el inicio de esta importante celebración.
Asimismo, mañana 11 de noviembre, fecha central de las actividades, se tiene previsto realizar una Misa Tedeum en la Catedral de Pucallpa, así como la develación de una placa conmemorativa: “Río Amazonas Maravilla del Mundo”, que estará ubicada en el Malecón Grau – Reloj Público de esa ciudad.
Luego de la ceremonia y acciones protocolares, llegará la hora de las presentaciones culturales y homenajes, que transformarán el ambiente a una atmósfera de fiesta. La alegría de la gente local y nuestra gastronomía estarán presentes durante esta celebración.
Muestra de ello es la feria artesanal, gastronómica, artística y agroindustrial, “Pucallpa Pone”, que se llevará a cabo del 11 al 14 de noviembre, contribuyendo a la reactivación económica y turística de la zona, permitiendo a turistas y comunidad local disfrutar de los productos y la gastronomía de la región Ucayali.
Celebrar la majestuosidad del mítico río Amazonas ayuda a crear conciencia sobre el cuidado de la Amazonía, que cubre casi el 60% de nuestro territorio y es considerada el pulmón del mundo.
