La ceremonia de entrega de esta donación se realizó en la sede central del INABIF donde estuvieron presentes el director ejecutivo de la institución, Sergio Tejada Galindo, y Edwin Orihuela Montesinos, Gerente de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia de la Iglesia de Jesucristo acompañado de un grupo de voluntarios del programa de servicio “Manos que Ayudan”.
El titular del INABIF agradeció este gesto que reforzará la alimentación de los usuarios del servicio. “Gracias al apoyo de la Iglesia se fortalece de alguna manera a la familia, brindándole alimento que es tan necesario en estas situaciones difíciles que estamos atravesando, que se ven agravadas por esta crisis sanitaria de la COVID-19. En este sentido, valoramos muchísimo este apoyo que nos han brindado y valoramos la gestión de los funcionarios y trabajadores del INABIF que han hecho posible que se pueda lograr y distribuir esta donación”.
La donación consiste en kits de alimentos, destinados a 1470 beneficiarios del servicio y sus familias, los cuales contienen leche evaporada, cereales, menestras, fideos, atún en conservas, aceite, azúcar, arroz y harina. Este donativo asciende a un total de 23 toneladas y media de alimentos, parte de los cuales ya se entregaron en las regiones de Ayacucho e Ica; y las provincias de Chincha, Huaral y Chancay. Asimismo, en el presente mes se repartirá en Abancay, Puno y Cusco.
El Servicio de Educadores de Calle (SEC) tiene como objetivo restituir los derechos de niñas, niños, y adolescentes que se encuentran en situación de calle, trabajo infantil, mendicidad, explotación sexual, vida en calle, para que logren su desarrollo integral y prevenir de mayor exposición a situaciones de riesgo.
