The Government calls on the business community to invest in the country with legal stability and sustainability of their investments.

Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Within the framework of the reinstatement of the National Labor and Employment Promotion Council (CNTPE), the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, made today a call to business and labor unions to promote dialogue to reach meeting points that allow the well-being of all Peruvians.

The Head of State highlighted the willingness of the representatives of the labor and business sector unions to meet at the Government Palace; and he said he hoped that in “the home of all Peruvians” consensus would be reached to establish common objectives.

“I highlight this reciprocal will to overcome these problems that have not been solved for many years and that, in 100 days, cannot be solved either,” he stressed after leading the technical table. He indicated that it is important to reach the necessary agreements to generate more fair companies where both the employer and the worker comply with the duties entrusted.

“It is important that the guidelines reached in these spaces for dialogue do not remain on paper, but that the citizen feels it, that the employer’s family feels it and that the worker’s family feels it,” he said. In this context, the Head of State called on companies to invest in Peru and affirmed that they have a government in charge that ensures the necessary legal stability to give sustainability to investments.

“We are going to continue to deny what has been said in the campaign, we are going to guarantee legal status, we are going to give legal guarantees to all businessmen,” he said.

The President summoned the other powers of the State to join the dialogue, in order to strengthen the legal framework. In that sense, he urged the business and working class to dialogue not only within the CNTPE framework, but also in a decentralized meeting in some region of the country. Finally, he highlighted the union work and highlighted the struggle of thousands of workers who gave their lives to achieve a better work environment in all corners of the world.

“I ask the workers to make things clear, because as long as we do not define what we want to do, we are going to generate confusion among employers. I call for the micro and small businessmen to also join in to create more jobs with better treatment for our workers ”, he concluded.

Participants This meeting was attended by representatives of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (CONFIEP), the General Confederation of Workers of Peru (CGTP), the National Society of Industries (SNI), the Confederation of Workers of Peru (CTP), the Chamber of Commerce de Lima (CCL) and the Association of Exporters (ADEX).
