Dentro de las instalaciones del Banco del Nación, el Mandatario recibió muestras de agradecimiento por parte de los jubilados que por décadas venían reclamando su derecho a una protección previsional y recién hoy ven cumplidos estos anhelos de justicia social.

“Vengo de una cantera donde las luchas por los derechos de los trabajadores han sido permanente, por eso les digo que este es el inicio y vamos a seguir impulsando el respeto a los derechos los trabajadores y jubilados”, enfatizó.

Hoy se inició el pago de las pensiones proporcionales en base al marco legal del Decreto Supremo N° 282-2021-EF, que permite a los aportantes acceder a una jubilación con aportes menores a los 15 años.

Más de mil 500 jubilados recibirán una pensión en este primer tramo, de los cuales mil pensionistas recibirán 250 soles y a más de 400 trabajadores se les abonará 350 soles. El reconocimiento de este derecho, les permitirá además acceder a los servicios de salud para ellos y sus cónyuges o convivientes e hijos menores de edad.

Al respecto, el Jefe de Estado destacó que el reconocimiento de este derecho supone una inversión social de más de 7 mil millones de soles.

“Desde octubre que se aprobó la norma, muchas personas se inscribieron lo cual es importante porque nos permite atenderlos económicamente y con dignidad”, manifestó.

Además, subrayó que el reconocimiento de este derecho previsional se dará no solo en Lima sino a nivel nacional. “La Oficina de Normalización Previsional, conocida como ONP, tiene un equipo especial para atender a los trabajadores en todas sus oficinas del país”, puntualizó.

En ese sentido, el Presidente remarcó que su Gobierno seguirá impulsando el diálogo con los trabajadores y los empresarios con el fin de impulsar la economía para generar empleo digno y de calidad.

“Acá tienen un gobierno que siempre estará del lado de los trabajadores y, en esa línea, pedimos a los empresarios que inviertan en nuestro país valorizando el recurso humano”, anotó.

Finalmente, exhortó al Congreso de la República a marcar una agenda conjunta en pos de mejorar el bienestar social de los trabajadores y promover la formalidad laboral.

El Mandatario estuvo acompañado de la presidenta del Consejo de Ministros, Mirtha Vásquez; el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke, y el jefe de la ONP, Walter Borja.

In this regard, the Head of State stressed that the recognition of this right implies a social investment of more than 7 billion soles.

In this sense, the President stressed that his Government will continue to promote dialogue with workers and employers in order to boost the economy to generate decent and quality employment.

“Here they have a government that will always be on the side of the workers and, in that line, we ask businessmen to invest in our country by valuing human resources,” he noted.

Finally, he urged the Congress of the Republic to set a joint agenda in order to improve the social welfare of workers and promote labor formality.
