Record histórico alcanzan en Perú los empleos agregados a las exportaciones informó ADEX.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Entre enero y septiembre de este año, los envíos peruanos al exterior generaron un total de 2 millones 565 mil 711 puestos de trabajo (entre directos, indirectos e inducidos), mostrando un incremento de 27.2% respecto al mismo periodo del 2020 (2 millones 017 mil) y marcando un nuevo récord histórico en este lapso, reportó el Centro de Investigación de Economía y Negocios Globales de la Asociación de Exportadores CIEN-ADEX.

El crecimiento en todos los sectores, a excepción el agro tradicional, se debe a la paulatina normalización de los despachos asociados a un mejor entorno global y, en parte, a la baja base de comparación, pues en marzo del 2020 se inició en el país la cuarentena por el Covid-19. También se muestra una tasa positiva de 14.3% en relación a enero-septiembre del 2019, superando lo registrado antes de la pandemia.

Solo en septiembre el stock se situó en 370 mil 536, lo que representó un alza de 10.2% respecto al mismo mes del año pasado, apoyado por el mayor empleo asociado a las exportaciones no tradicionales (22.5%) y a pesar de la menor generación en las tradicionales (-5.8%).

El gremio empresarial indicó que el comercio exterior genera empleos formales, desarrollo económico y poder descentralizador. Si bien este año la tendencia es positiva, el 2022 apunta a ser complicado porque muchas economías volverán a la normalidad, en ese sentido, consideró que Perú debe aprovechar la coyuntura para prepararse.

En su reporte ‘Impacto de las exportaciones: Empleo y PBI’, el CIEN-ADEX detalló que el stock laboral del sector primario fue de 948 mil 044 en estos 9 meses, lo cual significó un aumento de 29.5% y una representación del 37% del total; en el no tradicional la cifra fue de 1 millón 617 mil 667, creciendo 25.9% y concentrando el 63% restante.

La agroindustria se posicionó como la actividad más intensiva en mano de obra al obtener la cifra récord de 1 millón 052 mil 677 (incremento de 17.1%) gracias a los mayores despachos de superfoods hacia el mercado externo, pues al tener mayor valor agregado genera más puestos de trabajo a lo largo de todas las cadenas productivas.

La minería tradicional fue el segundo rubro con mayor impulso laboral con 672 mil 541 y un alza de 41.8%. Asimismo, fue la más dinámica en la generación de nuevos empleos (198 mil 302), por los mayores despachos de cobre, oro, hierro, cinc, plomo, entre otros.

El tercer lugar fue para las prendas de vestir con un stock de 202 mil 735 y una variación positiva de 61.8%, impulsado por la mayor demanda de mano de obra para confeccionar y exportar productos como t-shirt de algodón, suéteres y chalecos, pijamas, prendas para bebés, vestidos y más.

Le siguieron el agro tradicional al registrar 191 mil 561 puestos de trabajo y un retroceso de -5.4%, sobre todo por los menores volúmenes en los envíos de café, y la pesca para consumo humano directo (CHD) con 143 mil 176 (29.2%) gracias a la mayor demanda de pota y calamares congelados y en conserva, langostinos y sus colas, conchas de abanico, entre otros.

Completan el ranking la pesca tradicional con 80 mil 668 (53.5%), la siderometalurgia 45 mil 504 empleos (77.6%), el textil 37 mil 690 (61%), minería no metálica 34 mil 935 (53.8%), ‘varios’ 30 mil 062 (43.3%), químico 28 mil 371 (23.6%), metalmecánico 23 mil 033 (17.8%), maderas 19 mil 484 (29.4%), maderas 17 mil 299 (34.6%) e hidrocarburos 3 mil 273 (27.6%).

En el acumulado enero-septiembre, el nivel de empleo asociado a los envíos al exterior se incrementó en 22 regiones del país, siendo las tres principales Lima (representó el 26.1% del total), Ica (13.2%) y La Libertad (11.3%), concentrando en conjunto el 50.9%. En contraste, las tres regiones con menor índice laboral fueron Huánuco, Loreto y Huancavelica.

PBI
Respecto al impacto en el PBI, sostuvo que en el acumulado enero-septiembre las exportaciones generaron un PBI equivalente a US$ 65 mil 151 millones, lo que significó un alza de 43.6%. El mayor PBI se explicó por la buena performance de la minería tradicional (crecimiento de 47.4% en términos de PBI asociado) y agroindustria (+21.8%).
