De acuerdo al informe, en la última semana los contagios aumentaron en nueve distritos de Lima y Callao, siendo San Miguel la jurisdicción que registra mayor incremento porcentual de casos (+ 83%), pasó de 65 a 119 nuevos infectados.
“Santiago de Surco es otro distrito que reportó más contagios, pasó de 246 a 382 nuevos casos (aumentó en 55%), seguido de San Borja, de 102 a 140 (37%); La Molina, de 118 a 146 (24%); Cercado de Lima, de 354 a 418 (18%), y Chorrillos, de 127 a 148 (17%)”, detalló Dante Cersso, vocero de EsSalud.
Dijo también que los distritos de Ventanilla, Villa El Salvador y Villa María del Triunfo, también registraron un incremento de casos del 6%, 4% y 4%, respectivamente.
En cuanto a regiones, Junín registra por quinta semana consecutiva un incremento de casos, pasó de 229 a 375 nuevos casos (incremento del 64%). La provincia de Satipo, ubicada en esta misma región, también presenta la misma tendencia al alza de casos confirmados.
Por otro lado, la región Huánuco registra incremento de casos por tercera semana consecutiva, pasó de 86 a 220 nuevos infectados (aumento de 156%).
RANGO DE EDAD
El vocero de EsSalud señaló que, de acuerdo a la estadística, los casos confirmados de Covid-19 a nivel nacional aumentaron por sétima semana consecutiva en el rango de edad de 25 a 29 años, de 676 pasó a 1334 nuevos casos en la última semana.
Indicó también que actualmente cerca de 1401 personas están internadas por coronavirus en hospitales de EsSalud y que 347 luchan por su vida en una cama UCI.
Asimismo, alertó que los decesos a causa del SARS CoV-2 superan los 250 fallecidos por cuarta semana consecutiva.
Por su parte, el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Mario Carhuapoma Yance, exhortó a la población a vacunarse contra el Covid-19, lo cual nos protege de presentar cuadros graves de la enfermedad y recomendó mantener las medidas de bioseguridad como el uso correcto de la mascarilla, el lavado frecuente de manos y el distanciamiento físico.
