Tres vinos peruanos del valle de Ica ingresan a la más grande ciudad del vino del mundo en Francia.

En esta oportunidad, hicieron su ingreso a la prestigiosa Ciudad del Vino, “Cité du Vin”, ubicada en Burdeos, capital mundial del vino, en Francia, informó la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo (PROMPERÚ).

Es la primera vez en la historia que tres vinos de los valles de Ica: Intipalka (Sauvignon Blanc 2021), Tacama Selección Especial (Petit Verdot 2018) y Tabernero (Malbec 2018) fueron acogidos por el museo más grande del mundo dedicado a esta bebida, que cuenta con más de 1900 referencias de vinos de 70 países productores y recibe anualmente a 40 000 visitantes.

A través de una degustación guiada por la sommelier Maria Cascon Gastelumendi, importadores y sommeliers franceses descubrieron parte de nuestra viticultura. Un logro que se llevó a cabo gracias a la alianza estratégica impulsada por la Oficina Comercial de PROMPERÚ en Francia y la Ciudad del Vino de Burdeos.

Más de 80 participantes asistieron a dicha conferencia, realizada en un espectacular y moderno edificio, donde se dieron a conocer las variedades de uva que posee nuestro país y que son reconocidas por su calidad vitivinícola, asimismo, se destacó la importancia de la vid en el Perú, en particular en el año de nuestro Bicentenario.

Rosario Pajuelo, Consejera Económico Comercial del Perú en Francia, mencionó que esta alianza con la Fundación del Vino de Burdeos es un gran éxito para el Perú. “Hemos tenido la oportunidad de mostrar al mundo los vinos del Perú, presentar a conocedores y sommeliers las variedades de uva de nuestro terruño y por tres años continuaremos con presentaciones similares”, agregó.

El Perú marca un hito en la ciudad de Burdeos, hermanada con la ciudad de Lima, con quien los lazos comerciales se siguen afianzando. Esta iniciativa se realiza después del lanzamiento del Pisco College en París en marzo pasado y contribuye a posicionar la viticultura peruana en el exterior.

CIFRAS DE EXPORTACIÓN
Las exportaciones de vinos y bebidas espirituosas totalizaron un acumulado a octubre del 2021 de US$13.4 millones, registrando un crecimiento de 93.5% respecto al mismo período del año anterior.

Los envíos se dirigieron principalmente a Estados Unidos, Chile, Países Bajos, sólo en éstos tres países se concentra el 70% de las exportaciones peruanas; sin embargo, también se realizaron envíos a Colombia, España, Francia, Reino Unido, Alemania, entre otros.

Es importante mencionar que al cierre del 2020 se alcanzaron los US$9 millones. Los mercados más dinámicos durante ese año fueron Colombia (+22%), Dinamarca (+423%), Bélgica (+195%), Suiza (+148%), Canadá (+20%).
