Estas declaraciones las brindó en conferencia de prensa, tras la sesión del II Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado, el cual estuvo presidido por el jefe de Estado, Pedro Castillo, y en donde estuvieron presentes 15 ministros de Estado. Durante el encuentro con la prensa, la jefa del Gabinete estuvo acompañada por el gobernador regional de Moquegua, Zenón Cuevas y los ministros de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke; de Salud, Hernando Cevallos; y del Ambiente, Rubén Ramírez.
“Luego de esta sesión del Consejo de Ministros nos comprometemos cada uno de los sectores a hacer un trabajo con los alcaldes, con el gobernador, y abriendo espacios con nuestros equipos técnicos para continuar el trabajo que hemos iniciado hoy”, afirmó la premier.
Detalló que en Moquegua existen una serie de obras muy importantes referidas a educación, salud y agricultura. “Desde el Gobierno Nacional estamos asumiendo con prioridad, la ejecución de estas obras porque creemos que, en el marco de la descentralización que tanto se demanda, es importante que pongamos atención a lo que, en provincias y regiones como Moquegua, están necesitando”, enfatizó.
Explicó que, durante el 2022 hay una buena oportunidad de inversión para la región de Moquegua y desde el gobierno se brindará más asistencia técnica al gobierno regional y local para que los presupuestos se ejecuten de la manera más adecuada y priorizando la calidad del gasto.
Más temprano, durante la inauguración de la sesión del Consejo de Ministros, la premier destacó que el gobierno priorice la política de diálogo con las regiones. “Seguimos fortaleciendo nuestra política de diálogo con representantes y ciudadanos de todos los espacios del país, en cada uno de sus territorios”, precisó.
En ese sentido, resaltó que el Gobierno está interesado que el diálogo los acerque a la población, y que ello permita analizar las propias agendas de desarrollo territorial. “El diálogo con la gente y sus autoridades debe realizarse en sus territorios, a partir de sus propias agendas de desarrollo territorial para fortalecer y ampliar el proceso de descentralización”, afirmó.
En la sesión del II Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado participaron también, el gobernador regional de Moquegua, Zenón Cuevas Paré; así como los alcaldes provinciales de Ilo, Mariscal Nieto y General Sánchez Cerro, y representantes de los alcaldes distritales de la región.
Al finalizar la conferencia de prensa del II Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado, la jefa del Gabinete, Mirtha Vásquez, visitó y supervisó la plataforma de Mejor Atención al Ciudadano (MAC), que se implementará próximamente en el Centro Comercial Plaza Center de la capital de la región Moquegua.
MAYOR PRESUPUESTO PARA MOQUEGUA
Durante la conferencia de prensa, el ministro de Economía, Pedro Francke informó que como resultado de la recaudación tributaria récord del año 2021, se obtuvo más recursos, debido al pago de empresas mineras y otras a nivel nacional, por lo que se incrementó el presupuesto de la región Moquegua en 233 millones de soles adicionales.
Detalló que el presupuesto del año 2022 aprobado para Moquegua proveía que, por canon, regalías y otros mecanismos como el Fondo de Compensación Municipal (FONCOMUN) se iba a entregar 383 millones de soles para región; sin embargo, esta cifra se incrementó a 616 millones de soles.
ESTADO DE LA PANDEMIA
Por su parte, el ministro de Salud, Hernando Cevallos informó que hasta el momento se tienen 332 casos confirmados de la variante Ómicron a nivel nacional. Explicó que se han registrado 23 casos nuevos de esta cepa en el país. En ese sentido, precisó que la velocidad de contagio demuestra que Ómicron desplazará a la variante Delta en poco tiempo.
Respecto a la situación de la pandemia por la COVID-19 en la región Moquegua, manifestó que el 80% de los pacientes que se encuentran en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en los hospitales de la región no están vacunados, por lo que reiteró su invocación a la población a que acudan a los establecimientos más cercanos para ser inoculados o recibir la dosis de refuerzo.
CONTAMINACIÓN EN MOQUEGUA
A su turno, el ministro del Ambiente, Rubén Ramírez, precisó que en la región Moquegua existe una preocupación por el cuidado del medio ambiente y acuífero por parte de las autoridades locales, la misma que fue expresada durante la sesión del Consejo de Ministro Descentralizado.
Enfatizó que, desde su sector, se monitorea y supervisa el proceso de cierre de la minera Tucari en Moquegua, con el objetivo de remediar la problemática de contaminación en el río Coralaque. Asimismo, en el caso de la minera Quellaveco en la misma región, precisó que se está aplicando estudios para verificar que no se produzcan daños en el medio ambiente.
En otro momento destacó la iniciativa del Gobierno Regional de Moquegua de instaurar un bosque nativo con servicios ecosistémicos y un área de conservación regional para la región.
