Este incremento se debe a los precios de los minerales –su volumen cayó -70% en noviembre y -4% en el acumulado–, en particular el cobre, por lo que resaltaron regiones como Arequipa (es su producto N° 1), Ica (N° 3°) y Ancash (N° 1).

El presidente del gremio empresarial, Erik Fischer Llanos, opinó que los altos precios de los minerales no es algo necesariamente sostenible en el tiempo, por lo que insistió en promover la inversión no solo en ese sector, sino en otros intensivos en mano de obra. “También se requiere un marco jurídico estable en el tiempo, un buen escenario político, persistir con la campaña de vacunación, mejorar la infraestructura y eliminar los sobrecostos”, dijo.

DESPACHOS
A noviembre del 2021, Arequipa (US$ 4 mil 879 millones) ocupó el puesto N° 1 del ranking de los departamentos del interior del país con un aumento de 47.9%. Los bienes más demandados fueron minerales de cobre, oro y molibdeno, que de forma conjunta concentraron casi el 85%. Con montos mucho menores están la plata y sus concentrados, pelo fino cardado o peinado de alpaca, hilados de lana y alcachofa.

China (US$ 2 mil 128 millones) fue su principal destino, con un alza de 62.6% y una representación de 43.6%, seguido de Japón, EE.UU., Canadá, Suiza, India, España y Corea del Sur.

En el segundo lugar estuvo Ica (US$ 4 mil 866 millones) con un crecimiento de 56%. Los minerales de hierro, estaño en bruto, cobre, uvas y espárragos formaron parte de su oferta. Su comprador más importante fue China (US$ 2 mil 025 millones) con una variación de 85.8%. Completaron el top five EE.UU., Países Bajos, España y Corea del Sur.

Áncash (US$ 4 mil 222 millones) logró un incremento de 25.2%. De ese total, el 91.9% fue de productos tradicionales (minerales de cobre, cinc, harina de pescado, grasas y aceites de pescado). Con montos más pequeños estuvieron los arándanos, oro, paltas y mangos. China, Alemania, Japón, EE.UU. y Bélgica, fueron algunos de sus mercados.

De acuerdo al Sistema de Inteligencia Comercial ADEX Data Trade, La Libertad (US$ 3 mil 509 millones) se posicionó en 4° lugar, con un aumento de 21.6%. En su portafolio destacaron el oro, arándanos, palta, harina de pescado y demás preparaciones utilizadas para la alimentación de animales. Canadá y EE.UU. tuvieron una representación de casi el 45%. También resaltaron Suiza, China y Países Bajos.

En el 5° puesto estuvo Apurímac (US$ 2 mil 999 millones), con un crecimiento de 57.8%. Su oferta fue principalmente primaria (99.96% del total) se constituyó por cobre, molibdeno, oro, plata y hierro. Otros fueron las paltas, plata en bruto sin alear, kiwicha y tara que llegaron a China (US$ 1,855 millones), Corea del Sur (US$ 533 millones 119 mil), Japón, India y Chile.
