Durante su exposición, el burgomaestre enfatizó que desde el 2019 la Municipalidad de Lima entregó 55.6 km de ciclovías adicionales a la ciudad y se recuperaron 38.8 km de vías. Además, en estos tres años se construyeron 133 km de pistas y se rehabilitaron 2.2 millones de m2 de pistas y veredas.

Además, recordó la entrega de importantes obras viales durante el 2021, como el mejoramiento integral de la Av. Defensores del Morro, la recuperación de la zona costera de San Miguel en el tramo Av. Rafael Escardó – Jr. Virú y la construcción del puente vehicular y peatonal Fernando Belaunde Terry, proyectos que demandaron una importante ejecución presupuestal.

“Con respecto a los proyectos de inversión, tenemos la mejor ejecución presupuestal de los últimos siete años. Este último año ejecutamos casi 84% y ese dato pueden constatarlo en el portal del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas”, aseguró el burgomaestre.

Muñoz también indicó que la comuna limeña viene ejecutando diversas obras sociales, que a la fecha han beneficiado a más de un millón de vecinos de Lima norte, sur, este y centro, con una inversión superior a los S/154 millones.

“Hasta el momento se han culminado 574 escaleras, 18 losas deportivas y 146 muros de contención. Estos proyectos continuarán durante el presente año, lo que generará más puestos de trabajo para los ciudadanos de la zona y ayudará al desarrollo de la comunidad”, detalló la autoridad edil.

Asimismo, el alcalde anunció que durante el cuarto y último año de su gestión se entregarán obras viales que beneficiarán a la capital, como el paso a desnivel del óvalo Monitor (67.21%), el puente Inca Moya (19.67%), la ampliación del tramo norte del Metropolitano (59.01%) y la nueva vía Pasamayito (11.15%). Además, se entregarán nuevos espacios, los cuales forman parte de los proyectos 12 Parques del Cercado y Parques Temáticos del Bicentenario.

PRÓXIMOS PROYECTOS
El burgomaestre también mencionó que dejará encaminados los proyectos de los teleféricos de Independencia – San Juan de Lurigancho y El Agustino – Santa Anita. El primero tendrá una extensión aproximada de 6 km y contará con 5 estaciones, a beneficio de más de 30,000 usuarios a diario; el segundo será construido en la parte alta del cerro Catalina Huanca, tendrá cuatro estaciones y favorecerá a más de 7,000 personas todos los días.
