Esta mañana, el ministro de Salud, Hernando Cevallos Flores, supervisó la jornada “Coloreando mi vacunación” realizada en el Campo de Marte, la cual busca vacunar a la mayor cantidad de niñas y niños de 5 a 11 años.

Los menores que llegaron acompañados de sus padres fueron recibidos en un ambiente amigable, con diversos juegos y sorpresas, y un espacio para colorear y pintar, con el fin de motivar su participación en el proceso de vacunación.

Cevallos Flores resaltó que desde el Ministerio de Salud (Minsa) se trabaja el derecho a la vacuna, sobre todo para proteger a una población vulnerable como son los niños.

El titular de salud señaló que a los menores de 5 a 11 años se les aplica la dosis de Pfizer, por lo que instó a los padres de familia a acudir a los diferentes vacunatorios para proteger a sus hijos.

“Se vacuna en un marco de fiesta para que los niños se sientan contentos y acudan con sus padres. A la fecha ya vamos más de 890 000 niños vacunados en el país, queremos avanzar con esta primera dosis para que el reinicio de clases se haga en las mejores condiciones”, resaltó.

Asimismo, en el caso de la tercera dosis, el ministro Cevallos sostuvo que ya se han logrado vacunar a más de 8 296 000 personas, sin embargo, hay un margen importante de personas que deben aplicarse y acudir para colocarse su dosis de refuerzo.

Por su parte, el jefe de la Diris Lima Centro, Jesús Bonilla, calificó de positivo el balance del proceso de vacunación, pues los niños y sus padres acuden a un escenario de fiesta, arte y pintura, lo cual los motiva a continuar con su vacunación. Informó que a nivel de Lima Centro ya son más de 94 000 niñas y niños protegidos contra la COVID-19

“La tarea es ardua y el objetivo es vencer la pandemia y dar tranquilidad en el aspecto sanitario. Con la llegada de más vacunas se intensificará este proceso de vacunación para que los niños lleguen de la mejor manera a los centros educativos”, aseguró.

Este domingo 6 de febrero, los niños y niñas de 5 a 11 años, podrán seguir vacunándose en 10 puntos diferentes en donde podrán pintar, colorear y jugar.

This Sunday, February 6, boys and girls from 5 to 11 years old will be able to continue getting vaccinated at 10 different points where they can paint, color and play.
