“Es una reunión de mucha importancia, a fin de que nos den una mirada a las regiones que fuimos olvidadas por muchos años, y que ahora venimos trabajando sin descanso en busca del desarrollo de nuestros pueblos, que tanto lo necesitan. Encaminemos con mucha responsabilidad las acciones orientadas a una verdadera descentralización, necesitamos seguir avanzando y que nuestros proyecto y obras sigan encaminando, porque es la única forma de seguir avanzando como región” dijo el gobernador de Ayacucho.

En su intervención, el presidente de la república, Pedro Castillo, aseguró que las prioridades planteadas por los gobernadores regionales para el desarrollo de sus pueblos estarán en la política general del Gobierno que el Gabinete Ministerial expondrá ante el congreso.

Al ratificar el compromiso de su gestión con la descentralización del país, el mandatario pidió al presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres, priorizar la agenda de las autoridades regionales, de modo que, en función de la misma, se sustente ante el Parlamento.

“La designación de Torres como jefe del Gabinete Ministerial profundizará la lucha contra la inseguridad ciudadana, con diversas medidas como sanciones más drásticas contra delincuentes reincidentes, para lo cual se requieren modificaciones legales”, dijo el mandatario de la República.

En esa línea, pidió a los gobernadores regionales plantear propuestas en este tema en base a su experiencia. ​

Propuso también a las autoridades regionales establecer una metodología de trabajo mancomunado que permita romper con el centralismo que aún existe en la administración pública, con organismos paralelos que generan demoras en el manejo del presupuesto para las regiones.

“Tenemos un plan que contempla entre 700 y 800 puentes, que se ha venido trabajando con el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones para aquellos pueblos que están aislados, sería bueno que se priorice.

Planteo, por ejemplo, reuniones de ministros con los directores regionales para priorizar las obras, armar una agenda de trabajo con fechas, compromisos y responsabilidades”, señaló.

Durante el encuentro, el jefe del Estado dijo a las autoridades regionales que otro tema de trabajo conjunto debe ser el referido a la infraestructura de las instituciones educativas, para garantizar el retorno a clases, así como la compra de insumos a productores locales para el programa Qali Warma.

Asimismo, manifestó que se trabaja en lo relacionado a la masificación del gas para la región Ayacucho.
