El jefe del Estado realizó esta mañana un recorrido por el distrito citado, acompañado por el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres; la primera vicepresidenta y ministra de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte; y los titulares de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Silva; y de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Geiner Alvarado.

“Es nuestra función constatar en el lugar lo que están haciendo las autoridades. Insto a las autoridades de la región a establecer la agenda de Lambayeque. Miremos cómo está José Leonardo Ortiz, es un problema grande para los vecinos”, anotó.

En ese marco, el mandatario anunció que se declarará en emergencia dicho distrito, medida que permitirá elaborar, junto con las autoridades locales, una serie de proyectos para atender los problemas que afectan a la población, como la limpieza pública, la inseguridad, infraestructura y obras de saneamiento básico.

“No vamos a recibir al alcalde para ver una avenida, una cuadra o el mercado, será un paquete de obras para atender urgentemente a este distrito. Miles de pobladores claman avenidas limpias y seguridad”, apuntó al advertir que numerosos vecinos de José Leonardo Ortiz han sido víctimas de la violencia, lo cual –enfatizó- tiene que terminar.

El presidente Castillo expresó su preocupación por el problema de la basura en dicha jurisdicción e indicó que se evalúa en el Consejo de Ministros premiar a las ciudades más limpias. “Impulsar la limpieza de los pueblos es una tarea de todos”, subrayó.

Posteriormente, el jefe del Estado y los ministros sostuvieron una reunión de trabajo con autoridades regionales en la sede del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque.

Al finalizar la cita, el mandatario indicó que el próximo viernes 18 de febrero se realizará la reunión entre el Gobierno y las autoridades locales y regionales de Lambayeque, con el fin de abordar la agenda de esta región.

“Vamos a venir con el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial y los ministros que correspondan estar, con la finalidad de tratar lo relacionado con la agenda Lambayeque, no solo con el gobernador regional, sino también con el Consejo Regional y los congresistas de la región, así como los alcaldes provinciales y distritales”, manifestó.

En ese sentido, destacó la predisposición de las autoridades de Lambayeque y del Ejecutivo para atender las necesidades más urgentes de la región, en beneficio de la población.

El mandatario y su comitiva tienen previsto dirigirse a la ciudad de Chachapoyas, para entregar ayuda humanitaria y sostener una reunión de trabajo con las autoridades de la región Amazonas.

In this framework, the president announced that said district will be declared an emergency, a measure that will allow the development, together with local authorities, of a series of projects to address the problems that affect the population, such as public cleaning, insecurity, infrastructure and basic sanitation works.

“We are not going to receive the mayor to see an avenue, a block or the market, it will be a package of works to urgently attend to this district. Thousands of residents cry out for clean avenues and security”, he pointed out, warning that numerous residents of José Leonardo Ortiz have been victims of violence, which – he emphasized – has to end.

President Castillo expressed his concern about the garbage problem in said jurisdiction and indicated that the Council of Ministers is evaluating rewarding the cleanest cities. “Promoting the cleaning of the towns is everyone’s task,” he stressed.

Subsequently, the head of state and the ministers held a working meeting with regional authorities at the headquarters of the Regional Government of Lambayeque.

At the end of the appointment, the president indicated that next Friday, February 18, the meeting between the Government and the local and regional authorities of Lambayeque will be held, in order to address the agenda of this region.

“We are going to come with the head of the Ministerial Cabinet and the corresponding ministers, in order to deal with what is related to the Lambayeque agenda, not only with the regional governor, but also with the Regional Council and the congressmen of the region, as well like the provincial and district mayors,” he said.

In this sense, he highlighted the predisposition of the authorities of Lambayeque and the Executive to attend to the most urgent needs of the region, for the benefit of the population.

The president and his entourage plan to go to the city of Chachapoyas to deliver humanitarian aid and hold a working meeting with the authorities of the Amazon region.
