De esta manera, Torres Vásquez inició la jornada de diálogo con los parlamentarios de Somos Perú. Al término de la reunión, el vocero de la bancada, Wilmar Elera, confirmó que su agrupación otorgará el voto de confianza al Gabinete, y explicó que esta decisión apunta a evitar que el Perú se paralice y continúe la incertidumbre en el plano económico.

Por su parte, el parlamentario José Jerí detalló que se ha propuesto al premier presentar un pedido de facultades delegadas en materia de seguridad ciudadana, para proponer normas que se ajusten a esta problemática, además de replantear el Plan Nacional de Seguridad Ciudadana. Asimismo, indicó que se ha planteado institucionalizar un canal de diálogo entre la PCM, los miembros de la mesa directiva del Congreso y los voceros de las bancadas parlamentarias.

En esta reunión participaron los congresistas Wilmar Elera, José Jerí, Hitler Saavedra, Yorel Alcarraz y Patricia Li.

Seguidamente, llegaron a la sede de la PCM los parlamentarios de la bancada Perú Democrático. Una vez culminado el encuentro, el vocero de la agrupación, Carlos Zeballos, comentó que su bancada respaldará al Gabinete y le otorgará el voto de confianza.

“Hemos hablado de diferentes aspectos, sobre todo del tema de gobernabilidad, de respeto a la democracia y de que el Congreso de la República y el Ejecutivo tienen que trabajar de manera articulada”, mencionó. Asimismo, señaló que conversaron sobre los mecanismos para reforzar la seguridad ciudadana. Participaron de esta reunión los congresistas Carlos Zeballos, Guillermo Bermejo, Nieves Limachi, así como la parlamentaria y ministra de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Betssy Chávez.

En tanto, los congresistas de Podemos Perú, Enrique Wong y José Luna, acudieron también a la cita con el titular de la PCM, Aníbal Torres. Luna comentó que escucharán la exposición del jefe del Gabinete ante el Pleno del Parlamento para decidir si otorgarán el voto de confianza. Wong añadió que en el encuentro se abordó, entre otros temas la seguridad ciudadana, el manejo de los conflictos sociales, la reactivación económica y el impulso a la minería, por lo que es importante evitar un clima de enfrentamientos a fin de promover la inversión.

Posteriormente, en el Parlamento, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial dialogó con los congresistas de la bancada de Alianza para el Progreso. Al respecto, el vocero de la agrupación, Eduardo Salhuana, destacó la voluntad de diálogo del Ejecutivo y el Congreso la cual, señaló, debe traducirse en una agenda de concertación nacional.

Al final de la jornada, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros se reunió con los parlamentarios Edward Málaga, Flor Pablo y Susel Paredes, del Partido Morado, quienes plantearon sus sugerencias y posturas en torno al Gabinete Ministerial. Tras el encuentro, los parlamentarios destacaron la cordialidad del diálogo y el compromiso del titular de la PCM para atender el desastre ambiental, ocasionado por el derrame de petróleo en el mar de Ventanilla, así como a las personas que se han visto afectadas a causa de esta.
