Durante las reuniones con las autoridades locales y regionales, el ministro Silva ratificó el compromiso del sector para que el Proyecto Portuario Regional Lambayeque sea una realidad. “El proyecto del Puerto Eten tiene que seguir adelante, pero tenemos que seguir los procesos de evaluación, de tal manera que en el breve tiempo podamos emprender un proyecto de gran envergadura”, sostuvo.
Asimismo, ratificó que el proyecto del Puerto Eten ha estado siempre incluido en el Plan Multianual de Inversiones 2020-2023, y reiteró que también será parte del mismo plan que abarca los años 2023-2026.
Además, destacó que el Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque haya destinado S/ 345 mil para la reactivación de la Autoridad Portuaria Regional Lambayeque, cuya función es impulsar las acciones para que el proyecto del puerto se concrete.
Algunos de los temas abordados en las reuniones fueron el estudio de perfil del Corredor Vial Alimentador 13 Lambayeque–Cajamarca. Para continuar con su elaboración, los especialistas de Provías Descentralizado solicitaron a las autoridades locales que culmine y reclasifiquen las obras que interfieren en la mencionada vía de 830 kilómetros.
El MTC ha programado invertir S/ 550 millones en este corredor, el cual conectará las zonas de cultivo con carreteras nacionales y mercados de abastos.
También se brindará mantenimiento rutinario y periódico a las vías departamentales y vecinales. Silva anunció que se firmará un convenio con el Gore para atender las departamentales, por un monto de S/ 4.4 millones. Acuerdos similares serán suscritos con las municipalidades provinciales de Chiclayo, Ferreñafe y Lambayeque con una inversión de S/ 777 mil para el mantenimiento rutinario de vías vecinales.
En cuanto a la continuación de la Autopista del Sol en Lambayeque, el titular del MTC detalló que en abril se concluirá con el retiro de interferencias de los tramos 1 y 2. En este sentido, solicitó la colaboración de los alcaldes para que las zonas ya liberadas no sean ocupadas otra vez.
En esta jornada de trabajo articulado también participaron las congresistas Mary Acuña y Marleny Portero López, representantes de la región Lambayeque.
El MTC continuará articulando acciones con las autoridades regionales y locales, con el fin de fortalecer a las regiones e impulsar la descentralización.

Likewise, he confirmed that the Eten Port project has always been included in the 2020-2023 Multiannual Investment Plan, and reiterated that it will also be part of the same plan that covers the years 2023-2026.
In addition, he highlighted that the Regional Government of Lambayeque has allocated S / 345 thousand for the reactivation of the Lambayeque Regional Port Authority, whose function is to promote actions so that the port project is carried out.
Some of the topics addressed in the meetings were the profile study of the Lambayeque–Cajamarca Feeder Road Corridor 13. To continue its preparation, the specialists from Provías Descentralizado asked the local authorities to complete and reclassify the works that interfere with the aforementioned 830-kilometer road.
