Durante su participación en la supervisión del funcionamiento de las aplicaciones educativas instaladas en las tabletas digitales, el mandatario exhortó a acelerar el trabajo para que esta herramienta digital se encuentre expedita y se inicie su pronta distribución, de modo que llegue a las manos de los estudiantes.

“Qué satisfacción encuentro hoy al saber que tenemos una herramienta tecnológica. Antes gritábamos en las calles pidiendo tabletas para niños y computadoras para los maestros, hoy estamos dando el primer paso; no vamos a ceder en la lucha constante por la educación”, afirmó.

En esa línea, instó a los padres de familia de los escolares que recibirán las tabletas digitales a cuidar estos equipos, dado que son útiles para los niños, refuerzan su educación y, además, les permitirán acceder a otros contenidos, impulsar la cultura de cada pueblo, su lengua e idiosincrasia.

INTERNET En otro momento, el jefe del Estado anunció que se ha tomado contacto con tres empresas extranjeras que se acercaron al Gobierno para ofrecer el servicio de internet en todo el país, incluido las comunidades más alejadas.

Asimismo, llamó a los maestros, a los padres de familia, a los gobernadores regionales, a los alcaldes y a toda la colectividad a impulsar una cruzada responsable para el reinicio de las clases escolares.

“Estas herramientas tecnológicas llegarán hasta el último rincón del país, a las escuelas más lejanas, pero también llegarán los alimentos para los niños por medio del Programa Qali Warma”, aseveró.

Sostuvo que la misma cruzada se debe realizar para garantizar la seguridad de los escolares y de las instituciones educativas, ante el reinicio de clases.

“Estamos listos para revertir la crisis educativa, hay una crisis de valores, pero acá estamos para encarar y dar soluciones y no para quejarnos de los grandes problemas que tiene el país por años”, puntualizó.
