“Así como ha dado con una celeridad extraordinaria publicidad a la colaboración eficaz, exijo que, en la parte en la que se refiere a mí, inmediatamente proceda a verificar esa colaboración. Tiene que hacerlo porque no puede actuar de esta forma”, reclamó el premier.

En ese sentido, lamentó que una supuesta declaración de alguien implicado en una investigación fiscal se haya difundido en los medios de comunicación, cuando la ley exige que este tipo de procedimientos sean en total reserva, lo que demostraría un mal accionar en los representantes del Ministerio Público.

Advirtió, además, que detrás de todas estas presuntas acusaciones contra su persona y el presidente Pedro Castillo estarían grupos políticos que desde un inicio del actual régimen han pretendido desestabilizar al jefe de Estado, pese a que fue democráticamente elegido por la mayoría de peruanos.

“Aquí se está utilizando la colaboración eficaz como un gran negocio. Esto implicaría que hay un acuerdo entre los vacadores y la Fiscalía, pues lo que está haciendo la Fiscalía es darle una razón a los vacadores para poner fin al gobierno de Pedro Castillo”, señaló.

Respecto a los señalamientos en su contra y el supuesto ofrecimiento de asilo político al exsecretario de Palacio de Gobierno, Bruno Pacheco, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) rechazó rotundamente esta posibilidad, pues desde el cargo que ostentaba, como ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, no tenía esa potestad.

“Eso es absolutamente falso. ¿Yo qué poder tenía o qué facultad tenía para asilarlo en otro país? Era ministro de Justicia, no era ministro de Relaciones Exteriores. Es imposible que yo le haya ofrecido al señor Pacheco hacer eso”, indicó.

Torres Vásquez recordó que en algunas oportunidades se cruzó con Pacheco en Palacio y solo intercambiaron saludos. Eso sí, en una oportunidad se encontró con él en la calle y le preguntó sobre los 20 000 dólares que la Fiscalía halló en la sede del Ejecutivo, a lo que este le indicó que era producto de un retiro bancario, que incluso se puede corroborar por el comprobante que entregó a la Fiscalía.

Finalmente dijo no creer que el mandatario haya incurrido en los presuntos ilícitos que se dieron a conocer en algunos medios de comunicación, pues se trata de una persona honesta que quiere sacar adelante al país.

“Es una persona honesta, a tal extremo que en un momento pidió que se levante su secreto bancario, su secreto tributario, su secreto de las comunicaciones. ¿Por qué no lo hacen?, no les interesa llegar a la verdad”, consideró el premier.
