Con el fin de impulsar la participación de más niñas en el mundo digital, la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, a través de la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital, junto a la asociación Tecky Brains, brindará el taller “Aprende a programar jugando”, como parte de las acciones del programa Niñas Digitales Perú contemplado en la Estrategia Nacional de Talento Digital y en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer.
Esta sesión digital que se realizará hoy, de 6:00 p. m a 7:15 p. m, permitirá que las menores de 8 a 12 años descubran los conceptos básicos de la programación orientada a objetos utilizando Scratch, herramienta desarrollada por el Media Lab del Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
“Fortalecer el talento digital en nuestro país es una prioridad en la Política Nacional de Transformación Digital y, con este objetivo, es fundamental garantizar que cada vez más niñas participen y aprovechen de todos los beneficios que les brinda el mundo digital. Por ello, junto a la asociación Tecky Brains lanzamos el programa “Niñas Digitales Perú” en el que se dictará este taller para la creación de videojuegos y desarrollo de habilidades digitales. Aprenderán a programar jugando”, sostuvo Marushka Chocobar, secretaria de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la PCM.
Chocobar destacó los esfuerzos que se vienen desarrollando en el marco del eje 8 de la Política General de Gobierno, a fin de garantizar el acceso inclusivo, seguro y de calidad al entorno digital y el aprovechamiento de las tecnologías digitales en todas las regiones del país para consolidar la ciudadanía digital considerando sus condiciones de vulnerabilidad y diversidad cultural.
“Desde la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital venimos desarrollando un proceso de cocreación de la Estrategia Nacional de Talento Digital a fin de fortalecer las competencias digitales en el Perú y fomentar la participación de más mujeres en las carreras STEAM relacionadas a tecnologías e innovación digital. En esa línea, con un decidido apoyo del sector privado, la Plataforma Nacional de Talento Digital presenta cursos gratuitos para la ciudadanía en general en materia digital”, agregó Paola Gálvez Callirgos, experta en políticas y regulación digital de la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital.

Los padres que deseen inscribir a sus niñas en este curso deben ingresar a https://www.gob.pe/talentodigital. Las participantes recibirán certificados por su participación en el taller.

“From the Government and Digital Transformation Secretariat we have been developing a co-creation process of the National Strategy for Digital Talent in order to strengthen digital skills in Peru and encourage the participation of more women in STEAM careers related to technologies and digital innovation. Along these lines, with strong support from the private sector, the National Platform for Digital Talent presents free courses for citizens in general on digital matters,” added Paola Gálvez Callirgos, an expert in digital policies and regulation at the Government and Digital Transformation Secretariat. .
