En mérito a dicho acuerdo, la comuna limeña se encuentra a la espera de que la ATU suscriba en el más breve plazo la propuesta de convenio en el que solicita la ampliación de delegación de competencias, que fue remitido el pasado jueves 3 de marzo, a fin de continuar con la fase de ejecución de ambos teleféricos.
Los proyectos, que se realizarán como obras públicas, contarán con una inversión superior a los S/816 millones y beneficiarán a más de 82 mil personas de Lima norte y Lima este; el objetivo de los mismos es reducir el tiempo promedio de traslado en 49 minutos.
A través de este convenio, la comuna limeña se encargará de la elaboración de los expedientes técnicos. Cabe señalar que los estudios de preinversión de los dos proyectos de teleféricos fueron aprobados por la misma autoridad de transporte y están listos para su ejecución y posterior operación.
Ambos ya están registrados en el Banco de Inversiones del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, de acuerdo con las disposiciones del Sistema Nacional de Programación Multianual y Gestión de Inversiones – Invierte.pe.
La Municipalidad de Lima continúa efectuando las gestiones necesarias para acelerar y optimizar la fase de ejecución de los mencionados proyectos, a fin de acortar las brechas de accesibilidad y transporte, mediante un servicio sostenible y ecoamigable.
