“Escuchando el clamor del pueblo peruano, hemos planteado voltear la página de la confrontación y de las disputas inútiles, para dar paso a una etapa de diálogo y de concertación por el bien del país”, señaló.
Afirmó que “nadie debería sentirse excluido ni ponerse al margen de esta convocatoria amplia y de buena fe, para dedicar todo nuestro esfuerzo y tiempo a resolver los problemas más urgentes que agobian a los peruanos”.
El mandatario sostuvo que esta semana hemos demostrado al país que, a pesar de la crisis sanitaria, la coyuntura política y el escenario internacional adverso, hay un gobierno que puede exhibir logros concretos en beneficio de los peruanos, principalmente de los más vulnerables.
Asimismo, reiteró la voluntad de su gobierno de enmendar errores, pero, al mismo tiempo, respetando la institucionalidad, la democracia y la voluntad de los ciudadanos expresada en las urnas.
“Trabajemos por un país cohesionado que navegue hacia el rumbo de la justicia social, de la igualdad y el desarrollo”, subrayó.
ARRIBO DEL BAP CARRASCO
El jefe de Estado participó esta mañana en la ceremonia de arribo del buque oceanográfico BAP Carrasco a la Base Naval del Callao, tras haber culminado la XXVIII Campaña Científica del Perú a la Antártida.
La expedición científica, resaltó el dignatario, demuestra no solo la capacidad y fortaleza de la Marina, sino también su rol estratégico en el resguardo de los intereses y derechos del Perú en el exterior.
“Tras dos años de pandemia, el Perú ha vuelto a la Antártida para recuperar su presencia en el Continente Blanco, un hecho que debe llenar de orgullo a todas las peruanas y peruanos, más aún cuando estamos en el Año del Fortalecimiento de la Soberanía Nacional”, manifestó.
“Lo dije desde un inicio y hoy lo ratifico: es política de este gobierno apoyar la investigación científica en todos sus niveles, en beneficio del desarrollo nacional”, apuntó.
Destacó que las investigaciones realizadas por los científicos de las diferentes entidades del Estado y las universidades serán beneficiosas para el país, pero también se convertirán en un aporte del Perú a la comunidad científica internacional.
En la ceremonia participaron el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres; y los titulares de Defensa, José Gavidia; de Relaciones Exteriores, César Landa; y del Ambiente, Modesto Montoya, así como los altos mandos militares.
Tras la actividad, el mandatario recorrió las instalaciones de los Servicios Industriales de la Marina (SIMA), para conocer el trabajo que realiza esta institución.

ARRIVAL OF BAP CARRASCO
The Head of State participated this morning in the arrival ceremony of the oceanographic vessel BAP Carrasco at the Callao Naval Base, after having completed the XXVIII Peruvian Scientific Campaign to Antarctica.
The scientific expedition, highlighted the dignitary, demonstrates not only the capacity and strength of the Navy, but also its strategic role in safeguarding the interests and rights of Peru abroad.
“After two years of the pandemic, Peru has returned to Antarctica to recover its presence on the White Continent, a fact that should fill all Peruvians with pride, even more so when we are in the Year of Strengthening National Sovereignty. ”, he stated.
“I said it from the beginning and today I ratify it: it is the policy of this government to support scientific research at all levels, for the benefit of national development,” he said.
He stressed that the research carried out by scientists from different State entities and universities will be beneficial for the country, but will also become a contribution of Peru to the international scientific community.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres; and the holders of Defense, José Gavidia; of Foreign Relations, César Landa; and the Environment, Modesto Montoya, as well as the military high command.
After the activity, the president toured the facilities of the Industrial Services of the Navy (SIMA), to learn about the work carried out by this institution.
