El Jueves 17 de Marzo a las once de la mañana, Johel Valdivia, Gerente de Ayuda Humanitaria de la Iglesia acompañado del matrimonio misionero Hanke, Miguel Hurtado y Walter Bobadilla Sánchez, Director de Comunicación de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Perú visitaron el albergue ubicado en la primera cuadra de la avenida La Republica en Surco.

La donación entregada consistió en camarotes, cochones, frazadas, sabanas, almohadas, cómodas, veladores y lámparas, además de Jarras, vasos, termos, papeleras, alfombras y tapetes. Además para la cocina del albergue se entregó 150 botellas de leche de 400 ml, 8 botellas de aceite de 5 litros, 7 bosas de arroz de 5 kilos y 5 bolsas de detergente de 14 kilos.

Jonathan Rossi, Director Ejecutivo de la Asociación Ronald McDonald, acompañado de Fosch Rojas y de Carla Salazar, Gerente de Casa Ronald San Gabriel, agradecieron a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por su ayuda y develaron una plaza de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en su panel de organizaciones solidarias con el Albergue.

Johel Valdivia mencionó que la Iglesia de Jesucristo brinda ayuda humanitaria a las instituciones sociales para beneficio de los vulnerables y necesitados: “Como el Señor lo haría”.
