“En el marco de voltear la página y acabar con la confrontación, convocaremos al Acuerdo Nacional.

Esperamos que nadie se quede atrás, todos debemos tener voz y voto, pues a todos nos interesa el país y debemos poner de nuestra parte para sacarlo adelante”, anotó.

El mandatario recibió esta tarde, en Palacio de Gobierno, a representantes de la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales (ANGR), quienes le entregaron un documento en el cual proponen al Ejecutivo convocar al Acuerdo Nacional para institucionalizar el diálogo y la concertación, a fin de garantizar los mecanismos de estabilidad y gobernabilidad del país.

El jefe de Estado dijo que hacía suyo el pedido de los gobernadores regionales, que recientemente se reunieron en una asamblea extraordinaria.

“Saludo la iniciativa que sintoniza con nuestro principio democrático. Lo dije en su oportunidad y también ante el Congreso en el mensaje al país: soy un demócrata y, como tal, soy respetuoso de la voluntad popular”, aseveró.

Sostuvo que es el momento de decirle al país que los tres niveles de gobierno deben concertar, porque con las diferencias no se puede avanzar.

“El país es vigilante de lo que hacemos y dejamos de hacer, mucho más con los alcaldes y gobernadores regionales; los tres niveles de gobierno debemos concertar. Saludo nuevamente la iniciativa, el Perú y el mundo también lo ven con buenos ojos”, afirmó.
