En ese sentido, el mandatario adelantó que en el presente año se destinarán 100 millones de soles a través del Fondo de Inclusión Social Energético (FISE), para la construcción de redes de distribución de gas en varias jurisdicciones de la Macrorregión Sur.

Sostuvo que la ejecución de las obras permitirá, además del acceso a energía barata, la mejora de la economía de los pueblos, toda vez que pobladores de la zona participarán en la construcción de ductos a través de mano de obra no calificada.

“Cómo es posible que en el seno de Ayacucho haya una matriz energética y no se implemente, perjudicando a la población del sur. Uno de los objetivos centrales del Gobierno es mejorar las condiciones de vida de todos los peruanos y en eso estamos trabajando”, enfatizó.

En ese contexto, el jefe de Estado exhortó al Congreso de la República a poner en agenda el proyecto de ley que establece medidas para impulsar la masificación del gas natural, el cual permitirá coadyuvar al cierre de brechas energéticas en áreas que no cuenten con concesiones de distribución de gas natural.

“Hoy les corresponde a nuestros hermanos de Ayacucho y de la Macrorregión Sur ser atendidos en este clamor, porque los recursos del Perú tienen que ser para los peruanos”, subrayó.

Recordó que la masificación del gas natural en todo el territorio nacional fue una promesa de campaña, la cual está siendo atendida. “Es triste y lamentable ver que, después de doscientos años de vida republicana, una madre de familia tenga que abandonar su hogar para ir a las plazas a pedir, con cartel en mano, agua, luz y gas para su pueblo. Este es el Perú que encontramos día a día en nuestros recorridos, pero lo vamos a mejorar”, afirmó.

Asimismo, el mandatario hizo un llamado a las empresas del sector a colaborar con el objetivo de cerrar las brechas energéticas y garantizó el respeto al marco jurídico necesario para dar sostenibilidad a los proyectos de infraestructura.

“Desde Ayacucho hago el llamado al empresariado a invertir sin ningún temor; somos demócratas, así nos hemos formado y así conducimos el país. Dentro del país quieren hacer ver otras cosas,pero afuera las naciones nos ven con buenos ojos porque somos respetuosos de la democracia, de la inversión y del pueblo”, puntualizó
